might catch a railer off guard. still hittable. does the added momentum carry a risk of overshooting the ra and falling down when getting railed up the backside?
It's funny how in ql new moves are always "useless", in cpm/wsw/qw people always find new moves and different stuff to reach the same goal, a red armor for instance. That's how restricted ql is, regarding movement, at let's be honest, the most awesome stuff in these games is movement, not like midairs are quakish exclusive.
Thought-out and adaptable tactics, positining along with clever timing/control of items and dodging is what gets me going and not some fancy move that in this case would be useless since most of the damage dealt taking that RA would be exit-damage anyway.
Over the years there's been very few specific moves in OSP/QL that have been either awesome or game breaking - if there's ever been one?
dude i was a millionaire at 16 years old but I couldn't afford a keyboard nor a pc until like 30, which is why I lost 50 to -2 on my first and last lan match
Actually yes, I have seen a couple of Russian players online attempting this, saw it successfully done ONCE. I would like to see somebody recreate this consistently.
PG climbing was way more difficult in Q3. There was no way in hell to climb "normally" using just 2 cells, whereas in QL it's a piece of cake, so probably you wouldn't get enough altitude to reach the RA ledge while attempting the whazma jump.
