Xenon was the best QW player of all time imho. On top of that he was great at Q3 and now at CS. Potti is the best CS player of all time, a game played by millions. Shub won EDL, was seventh at XSi and got in the top64 at Razer CPL, that is about it.

polos deserves to be there without a doubt, the russian quake scene wouldn't be nothing of what it is today if it wasn't for him.

i think what polos have done for the russian scene means a lot, otherwise we didn't event need a voting, we should just look at who won the most tournaments.

Reviewing the replies here I must say this is foremost a poll about the most skilled game, and only then about the most greatest player in that game.

People here are biased, most people play quake and don't know CS players, which is a very bad population to rely on. If you would do the same on schroet the result would be definetely a cs player, which is just the same bias.

Imo, it's cute but it doesn't work out that well. Only good comment I read was about StarCraft players, if they are the top then they are most definetly the most skilled imo, as the competition their reaches the highest peak imaginable in games. Too bad we, western people, don't have a clue about that.
