A few weeks ago I interviewed one of the best Swedish Quake 3 duel players. He finished second at many different tournaments this year including ESReality Online, QLAN, QuakeCon and Wipeout LAN. Besides all of these second places he played unexpectedly badly at ES WorldCup in France, where he finished 7th/8th.

His name is Alexander "Z4muZ" Ihrfors, 17 years old, a member of the well known Swedish clan All-Stars.

In this interview I talk with him about his playing style, what exactly happened during the ES WorldCup, his experiences in the last year, about the Wipeout LAN and a lot more.

Here's a snippet:
Do you play less aggressively when you have a player like Cooller against you or do you play with the same style every time?

I don't use the exactly same playing style vs everyone. I play well vs better players because I know that I really really need to do that if I want to win. If I play over the internet and play vs someone I have never heard about I just play aggresively and try to get a lot of frags, with aim and not so much tactics.
