There isn't much more I can say about the Logitech drivers really... They never release any info about them.

These drivers didn't make a difference with my mouse atleast. (mx300) I tried both disable acceleration in games on and off but there was no effect what so ever. I'm running winxp

Drivers are teh suck if you use a low sens. I think these drivers are good for high sens users.

Actually, it is set to 0 as default so I don't think what you are saying is true (for this version at least).

Actually that sets the resolution to 400 dpi, but it doesn't work if you do a full install with mouseware 9.76

i'm using boomslang drivers - works perfect with my mx500 (except aplication-switching button), but its probably runing only at 400dpi... i would be greatful to someone who figure out how to switch to 800dpi... or am i wrong and it's actualy runing at 800dpi? :-)

It's 800dpi that causes negative acceleration. Only very high sensitivity users need 800 dpi, 400 dpi is plenty for gaming.

Why u think that when i use razer driver i get as a matter of course highest possible dpi? i think that razer has their owns registry keys / packet types especialy to gain 2000dpi from razer which is already constructed for that.... to work with that drivers... but what happens when you connect other mouse ?

i meant that as a joke of course. 2000 dpi are possible only with the razer mouse. you don't get more than 400 dpi out of ms optics no matter what drivers you're using.

anyway, interesting to see that razer drivers work with mice other than the bs, i could experiment a bit.

Actually what i wrote is that you do not need 800dpi, you DO NOT WANT to have 800dpi. All the problems with "negative acceleration" is related to 800dpi and the input method used for the mouse.
To get 800dpi, a special signal has to be sent to the mouse from the logitech-drivers, therefor you do not have 800dpi with razer-drivers.
It's nice to know that one can actually use razerdrivers to bind the extra buttons on the mx500 in games.

The razer-mouse gets 2000dpi because of it's thin rollers. The rollers on the bs2k (fitting acronym for the mouse) spin 5 times more on the same distance as a mouse that uses 400dpi therefor no signal needs to be sent to the mouse to enable 2000dpi.

u dont have to assign anything to get 800 dpi if you have installed the logitech drivers.

9.75 was bloatware.

I checked the DISABLE ACCEL IN GAMES option and my mouse became really sensitive.

Like I changed sensitivity from10 to 30 or so. =)

does the regfix work with this new mouseware it didn't with 9.75

actually the "disable accel in games" does not fix the negative accel problems people experienced before, it just disables the accel (low, medium, high) that u set in the mwcontrol panel once u launch up a game

I did a driver only install, just like I did with 9.75. At that time someone posted the registry settings that should give you a 'normal' feel. I used those settings, but just changed "MouseSpeedY"=" and "MouseSpeedX" to 50 in stead of 100. I believe 50 was the original default anyway.

Feels just like 9.75. I also have the feeling it responds more quickly when I use the scrollwheel or the thumb button, but that could just be between the ears :]

Ok the sens was very high but when lowering it on mwpanel it was ok both in win and in q3. Disable acc is checked. Used driver only before and couldnt assigned the tumbbuttons to mouse3. Can do now!

Sometimes when i start q3 i have different sens that i normally have. Much higher. Only thing to do is restart q3. Very annoying. Same with qw.

I like these new drivers with my dual optical mouse.
now when i bind the side button to jump it works instantly

they are the very good drivers, the diffrence is big, i used windows default drivers before, and this mouseware truly rules ;)

i got sens 1 in XP no accel and stuff, and its havesome

i can turn very nice and the sens isnt to big for aiming.

when i set the XP commands to shortcut then the mouse started to suck, but w-o them its very good
