i'm unable to playback any demos after the update, using the ff qldp plugin. help :<

ff(ver3.6.8) and QLDP(ver0.9.7) is working fine for me.
Check your versions.

ff 3.6.8 and qldp 1.3.1 (updated 12/2009) here.

Yeah I do actually, I'll try to reupload my full config when I get a chance. My autoexec is the one I update the most often, which is why I usually only upload that.

Thought nVc made a custom dot crosshair that he uploaded on ESR somewhere if you can't find a solid small circle

I do use the dot, but I couldn't find a solid border for it. so I made a small square a lil bigger than the dot + added a border around it.

By border do you mean something like this?

Cool, thought about doing that myself a few times since other games I've played which have had crosshairs like that have noticed they feel a bit more 'removed' from the game and stand out more.

Used to use a console command called something like spriteblend in another game which meant that elements like hud and crosshair stuck out. For example if you took a painting of a landscape, then put a clean-film over the top with things drawn on the film. Kinda has a nice feel to it. For some reason putting outlines around stuff like crosshairs make them feel removed and stick out a bit more :p

Wish i could use that custom dot but i use 800x600 or 1024x768 so it looks like crap :(
Nvc had a 1024x768 version in his hud but it didnt look that sharp and nice and i cant
seem to set it up for 800x600 myself ...../cry :P

Correct, I use inverted mouse. It's my personal preference.

This has also changed over the years, I now use a circle crosshair that shrink's everytime I zoom. It's basically the same as the square just as close to a circle as I can get it. My updated config has it.
