Who would you consider to be the best dueler?
Elpajuo: My name is Alejandro Gonzalez, 18 years old currently living in Florida, USA. My hobbies are sports, gaming and going out with friends
What previous clans have you been in?
Elpajuo: I consider cooller to be the best dueller, along with John “ZeRo4” Hill. They just adapt very well and are very unpredictable when they are practiced and not rusty.
Everyone has strong and weak points, what are yours and what makes yours the way it does?
Elpajuo: Styles Unknown for CPMa TDM, it’s a fun clan and well be playing in Global Gaming League tournament coming up for CPMa TDM, with 5000 as prizes I think, 2000 first place.
You were named champion of CPM in GGL Season 1, did you think you were going to win the OSP 1v1? Who would you say was your hardest opponent?
Elpajuo: I think my weakest point is ztn, specially playing a dirty Russian like cooller on it. When they control everything and you don’t know what to do
Will you be taking part in the Global Gaming League Tournament an attending Quakecon 2004?
Elpajuo: I thought it was going to be hard because my connection wasn’t good that time, adelphia isn’t good for gaming. Donking found fair servers for everyone and it was good. My hardest opponent was of course Daler. I think he has the best online aim I have seen, and he abuses it rushing a lot!
What do you think the future of Quake 3 competitions will be duels or team games? Do you prefer team games or duels?
Elpajuo: I’m in the Global Gaming League OSP 1v1 ladder, and I plan to attend Quakecon 2004, but they have to announce the events and tournaments first.
People play quake3, but don't like it, most people play for money competition, why do you play?
Elpajuo: I think team games is the future in most games, it draws more people to the tournaments. Of course I prefer dueling a lot more, but team games can be really fun depending on the team.
What other games/mods to play you besides CPM and OSP?
Elpajuo: I think not that much play just for money, but there is no other game that is close to Quake3 1v1. I play because I enjoy it, and tried to pub some everyday before, but lately I haven’t been playing because I have been moving.
If you had to make a TDM team who would in the lineup?
Elpajuo: I play a little bit of ut2k4 and just tried painkiller, but it really confuses movement in every game after you play one. I find ut2k4 dueling boring, pretty campy, and Painkiller needs more balancing for the there weapons, other than that its fun the 2 duels I played so far.
Do you see yourself playing DOOM 3, when it comes out?
Elpajuo: I’d choose from what I saw at QLAN team Moscow or IC, they communicate so much, I was really surprised.
