Quake Live Gaming League - North America Season 1

All players and teams wishing to participate in this league must register @ www.qlgl.net by January 5th 2013 11:59pm EST.

The Season will commence on Saturday January 12th, 2013.

This league encourages competitive play in various Quake Live game modes. To kick off the first season QLGL will host leagues for the Clan Arena and Instagib Capture the Flag game modes. QLGL's first season will feature teams of 5 to 8 players competing in weekly 4 versus 4 Quake Live Clan Arena (CA) and Insta-CTF (iCTF) matches. We will expand into other mods as well as Europe, specifically iFT, CTF, and TDM provided there is enough demand for these mods.

Currently, we have 32 teams for the CA league, 7 for iCTF and over 175 players registered. A full list of teams and players is listed on the site.

This site is dedicated to promoting organized competition in Quake Live.

Initially, we are kicking off two North American leagues: Clan Arena and Insta CTF. As the site grows, we anticipate gaining sponsorship and prizes. For now, you’ll go down in our Hall of Fame (coming later) as winners of the first Season. The plan is to have a league for CA, CTF, iCTF, FT, iFT, TDM and possibly Duel.

League seasons may last anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks depending on their format and the number of teams involved. To view which leagues are available for signup, please visit our signup page.

The reception for the CA league has been tremendous with 18+ clans already on board for Season 1. If you think you have what it takes to compete in a league, then gather your roster, signup and get practicing.

More importantly, please help get people involved! Organized competition in Quake Live is hard to come by. I am actively working on getting a CTF/TDM league in place but we need your help to grow some demand for different types of leagues. Bind a key to advertise this site. Tell your friends. Tell your friend's friends. Please help us get a bunch of active players signed up so we can continue to expand into other mods.
