Held by Samsung, the Pan European Championship 2006 is the third incarnation of what was originally the European Cyber Games in 2003 and the Samsung European Championship in 2005.
Hosted at the CeBIT technology fair in Hannover, Germany, this year's championship boasts €150,000 ($180,000) of prize money. Attending in 2006 will be 330 players from 30 countries across Europe.
