just wondering, has anybody received a confirmation email or any kind of newsletter since signing up? i signed up the day the closed beta was announced using two separate emails and i haven't gotten anything yet. nothing in the spam folders either.

After reading this, I tried to sign up again, using the same email as before. This time I get a different message:

"THANK YOU FOR YOUR REGISTRATION!

Please check your inbox for your confirmation email and follow the instructions.
If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder."

No email has come in yet.

i have a feeling that it might have something to do with the "country of residence" you choose when signing up. i just used one of my gmail addresses using a neighboring country (netherlands) and i actually got the confirmation mail this time.

I've used three email accounts to sign up. The first received no confirmation email, however the second two did. And both of them asked me to confirm the registration.

If I were you I would use different emails until you get a confirmation reply.

i've used gmail and a gmx (german email client) addresses. didnt get anything on either one. on what provider did you get the confirmation? maybe I'll just se tup a new yahoo account or so.

After reading this I just signed up with a second e-mail account (also from a german provider called web.de) and recieved a confirmation e-mail. The first account I signed up with (several times, since I didn't get any confirmation and wasn't sure if it had worked) still hasn't gotten any confirmation. Not sure what that's all about. Maybe it is because they did not send out confirmation e-mails in the beginning, when I signed up with my first account and only started doing that recently, and, since my first account was already listed as signed up at that point, it wouldn't recieve another confirmation? Doesn't sound too plausible, but that's the only idea I have.
