Hi guys, you've all cum to known me very well over last years and come to respect me greatly, now, i have something new to amaze you with!

I bought the montor that Rapha uses, but, since im so intuitive, forgot to look if my computer could use it, it is a Laptop and i cannot use it!!!

So im out like 200$ if anyone wants to buy a ASUS VG VG248QE 24" Widescreen LED LCD Monitor, built-in Speakers

WHO knew that these kinds of monitors required something called a Dviport connection to use it???? I didnt!

you can use it on a laptop. you just need a simple adapter. Someone who knows more about lcd monitor will explain this im sure

i bought the adaptor but my laptops not good enough or graphics card wasnt or something, got it right here on my desk cost 15 dollars but didnt work.

if his laptop only has hdmi hes basically fucked. older hdmi outs dont really handle 120hz not to even mention 144

d-sub or displayport should work

so i have the usb to dvi-d adaptor, but no display port on lappy to connect too, can i buy some kind of cable to connect to the dvi-d cable, top connect to the lappy? or too much lag form two extra cords connected to monitor, to work on lappy?

You can use hdmi at lower resolutions with 144hz(for playing)
Or a laptop with displayport/thunderbolt to play at fullhd@144hz

K, so i dont have the thunderbolt...and.... I need some adapter too connect to the dvi-d/usb cord i bought to make monitor connect to laptop in first place. Is that possible to do, i'd have major input lag from having two diff cords just to connect to compy

On front it says samgsung. With intel i3 and 4 gb ram. Not sure whats the item number or any of that if its whats you asked. Kinda epilepsy problems today, brain not understanding shit. Spent last 4 hours changing router settings and now i cant even get on internet without this cell phone :(
