Hey Guys!

www.ebattlegrounds.com has a CA 4v4 League about to start, sign ups end tomorrow! Just wanted to give a final post, we are still looking for teams. Anyone that can get a team of 6 together can join. Just go to the ebattlegrounds website forums and look for sign ups. Please read the rules first!

We have some great teams that came together for this, with some extreme talent. Players like rapha, KGB, Extremerz, instin, Bentley, pit, Psygib, Fear, Carnage, tig, Demex, ShaTTeReD_ , whaz, BADMOUSE and lots more!

Cue the chorus of unknown 1500-1600 duel elo lifers being smug about lolca because they don't think shooting is a relevant skill in a shooting game. Actual good duelers like rapha and whaz do great in lolca and apparently enjoy competing in it.

It may be some bitterness about how popular Clan Arena is compared to duel in North America. I can understand. Clan Arena is a little brainless compared to duel. Some of the hate is justified. The skill ceiling is a lot higher in duel. To be a true master of Quake you must be very good in duel.

Sorry but we are requiring each team to have a min. of 6 players.
The league format is 4v4 but we are making each team sign up with 6 players so they can have a sub ready to play if someone has to leave for any reason. This keeps the forfeits and rescheduling to a minimum.
Also we do have a thread on the forums for Free Agents, if you are unable to put together a team or cant find one you can post there to see if a current team would like to pick you up. Or you can gather enough free agents to make your own team.

You can view all the teams and players that have signed up under the sign ups thread in the forums.
