I actually used this strategy once at the online casino of bwin.
I started with about 100$ and was up to about 600 $ within 20 minutes or so(minimum bet was 5$). But of course you will eventually lose everything like I did...

I have done extensive testing with the martingale and roulette and came to the following conclusion...

1\ you can only win if you have a sufficient bank roll to start with to cover a hideous run of "bad luck". I have seen red 32 come up 3 times in a row next to me, so I know for a fact insane things can happen, if you are doubling up everytime on a system that is nigh on 50\50 you can still find yourself in a position where you are gambling large stakes of money to win relatively small amounts back. And if you hit those table limits, its gg.

2\You do not have any table limits, or the table limit is at least 500 and you bet fairly small, if you try this shit in a casino, it wont be long before you are made to feel unwelcome, if you do this at a bookies, in the UK they have a £100 limit, and its easy to reach that limit.

Maybe an online casino would work, but do you trust the system\code in place not to know con you if it detects you are trying to play it in such an obvious way..I do not. Given most of them are hosted offshore and your tactics are far from advanced.

3\ You can fight off boredom and not get greedy, this is the one lesson I could never fully learn, and I think this is the golden one that suckers many.
