The aero tele thing at higher ping is normal. Its just how qw netcode works.

I don't think there is anything in qw that will give you free acc. But try to experiment with cl_fakeshaft 1 or 2 and v_viewheight -6. Almost all top players use -6 afaik but some use 0 so it doesn't really matter.

cl_staticsounds 0 will remove annoying tele sounds.

-6 is the value that makes most sense overall as that is the value which makes you aim where your crosshair is (make sure you have cl_crossx 0 and cl_crossy 0 though).

Having any other value for v_viewheight might make you shoot into the floor when aiming off of a ledge because the crosshair appears to be outside the ledge but in reality you aim right on it.

For the aero jump look straight down when you come out of the tele. The higher the ping the more you need to slam it down.

The "game type" command would be 'deathmatch 0-6?'.

Otherwise if you're running kteams you can just type 'commands' and it should show you a list. It's been a while :(

400x300 con settings make the text in the console larger and easier to read.

Probably -mem and -heapsize aren't needed, and not sure how many of the -noforce are effectual anymore. I just left them in there just in case. There's definitely a raw input setting in ezquake.

-ruleset -norjscripts are so that llamas can type in some f_check thing and you will report that you aren't using any movement scripts. Might be outdated at this point.

The Aerowalk teleporter sure is a classic example of the netcode turning weird at higher pings. I don't think it kicks in as early as 50 though, but around 100 ping i must do the teleporter jump/move a bit differently; instead of going right into the tele like usual, you move towards the wall coming from the health boxes, pressing move forward/right and then turn the mouse to the right as usual when entering.
