So it just finished. I was much less bored than I had expected, but it wasn't as good as I thought it could have been.

No clue on the scoring whether klitschko's win was deserved.

In the beginning it seemed haye was being pushed down a lot, but after a while he just dropped to the floor with minimal weight on his back. What was the point of this tactic?

Avoiding the right hammer of klitschko but klitschko does the same. Clamping and pushing the opponent down. Imo Haye is the better boxer.

i think the point was that he would rather go down on his knees quickly than risking a clinge, where klitschko's arms would without a doubt be resting on his shoulders and pushing him down. so every time he was in risk of getting in a clinge, he would go down on his knees immediatly, probably less exhausitng or whatever.

I like Wladamir a lot, even british people thought haye went too far, but at the same time, the heavyweight needed some drama.

There was no real shame for Haye losing. He lost yes, but given the size diff and expereince of Wladimir it wasn't as if either fighter was notably better. Its seemed to me a fight of physical bias that Haye could not win, as unlike Valuev, the other guy could box.

I was disappointed with the fight, though it was quite boring.

Problem haye has is he's only 30, he know stands to retire with no belts and will be remembered as a big mouth who lost.
Those videos won't go away, and seeing as Wladimir and Calzaghe were both world champs in their mid 30's there is and never was any real excuse for haye retiring. He's still a damn good fighter, but Klitskos are giants, most others are not that big, and that was davids problem. He could still beat most of the rivals, and rememberhe did move up a weight, he IS NOT a natural heavy weight.

You could be 1 million times bigger than your opponent, and it would be legal (unlike every other division). So what they did was take advantage of that. Get huge fighters, and use their size to their advantage. Tyson... he is tiny, like 5'10''. That can't work against someone 6'7''.

True. Wont watch any other fight on free tv. For the next fight I will try to find a good HD stream like the NBA League Pass. You could watch the final game there for 7$ which I think is a reasonable price. Anyone knows a HD stream provider where you only have to pay for a certain match/fight etc?
