People are starting clans, inviting standard players to private servers, people care about tdm again, freezetag to finally make a breakthrough? players are proud of belonging to a clan again,...etc

awesome stream providers such as own3d, tournaments (AG, esl, esh, DH, hoq) and dedicated admins (perpetualwar, vash, chosen, howhard, whally, legie,...), old and new sponsors/proclans (intel/alienware/razer for esl, rage/reason gaming,.....), dedicated casters like nvc/vor/dis, calipt, isschju, joe ofc, and not to forget the russian and US streamers/casters and how can I forget about trance and his lvl^ buddies who go to DH to cover one of the best and most entertaining tournaments this year on their own budget?

quake still has a bright future don't forget that guys :)

Membership is growing nicely and Freeze Tag Friday (prolly ought to post here about that too....) is turning into a regular success. So anyone here actually want to join in ???

Pro members can invite standard players onto FT servers and we've got a few Pro subscribers in the Clan, including me when I can find me credit card. It's around here somewhere...

It's just another approach. Not everyone uses irc and this gives you a quick heads up via the Friends Online window. Anything to help FT get played a bit more.

Great points you're making there, my major concerns were spawning with PG/SG (what's up with that shit) and not being able to spec, maybe a thaw-o-meter of some sort and void should not result in respawn with 125/0 + ammo/weapon restock.

Shooting frozen mates could do, but jumping in it just defies the purpose of the void. You can easily evade combat by using this handy teleport that not only respawns you somewhere else on the map, but also gives you free health and weapons.

You should respawn when jumping into void, but there should be a delay of a couple of seconds during which you are frozen.
Weapon restock only means you will have full MG again since spawning with weapons is only for brainless modes as CA.
