Qck heavy is slow. I had it and it wore out quickly too. Now I have Qck+ fanatic and it is faster than heavy.

I have both, I felt they were about the same.

Yeah I've pondered getting the QcK+, might work out well

my everglide titan seems to work fine with wmo

have you ever considered that the problem here is;

a) you, or
b) your mouse skatez

the goliathus control is a fast pad, i have no idea how you expect to get something between that and a SS:S&S

my Zowie worked really well on the razer mat but the wmo with skatez kinda sink into it giving it too much friction for my taste.

My Artisan Kai.G3 (Rad,Large,Hard) just arrived on the post and iv been playing with it for a bit and I love it.

+ Cheap 10 euros (if you don't count shipping)
+ Well made
+ No gaming gimmicks

- Edges cut me a few times when I first used the pad but the edges have softened a bit now and its ok.
- Not a lot of depth in size with the pad but that isn't really a problem because I can aim up by just flicking my fingers.
- Cant roll it up (not really a problem im not going anywhere and if I am I will just slide it down the back of my backpack)

This is like WMO of mouse pads no gimmicks it just does what you need it to do.

The wmo of mousepads is the qck+!

I got the 5L, and let me tell you it's just pure awesomeness if you prefer medium speed mats. I tried about 20 different mats before I found the 5L, and nothing compares:)

Which mousepad does work for the following mices:

- wmo
- abyssus
- xai

Pad should be cloth though I would like to try the icemat. Need a new mouse+pad. My currently setup (deathadder 1800+qck+) gets kinda rancid and it is worn out like a crack whore :/

I heard abyssus doesn't work with qck+ so I might try the razer one.

Qpad CT for an in-between of cloth and hard pads. Same with puretrak talent and artisan g3 I hear but can't verify

Have you washed your goliathus or is it the pattern on the control that is the problem? All the clothmats that I've had got really soft if I wash them (the bases looses it's firmness) and made the mousefeet dig into the pad a lot more.

There is not much out there in terms of middle ground IMO as there is pretty much a gap between hardpads and clothpads in terms of friction. Fastest clothpads that I have tried are puretrak talent and razer goliathus speed. People say the artisan kai.g3 is even faster and it is fairly cheap if you order directly from their site. Personally I don't like the hybrid pads, that have a layer of soft plastic on top (qpad CT and similar,) as they develop a lot of static friction after a few months use.

An alternative would be to spend a few weeks getting used to hardpads again. It feels uncontrollable for a few days and may take 1-2 weeks to get used to again.

I dunno, I've gotten so used to a huge cloth mat it's really nice : ) Isn't the SS S&S pad one of the fastest out there?

If you want a clothpad, then the ones are listed should all be on your shortlist. While the S&S is among the fastest plastic pads out there, it is also among the most controllable. Func 1030 archtype mught be an alternative if you want a hardpad, but by your own statement you love clothpads so you should get a clothpad.

so do u know any that are faster than the Razer Goliathus Control?

Never had the control version, only the speed version as I wanted a smooth pad.
