looks like a fail version of the salmosa.

bottom switches only let you go from 125hz to 1000hz. most people use 500 nowadays. and the dpi switches only go from 450 to 1800 to 3500.
although the salmosa mouse buttons squeak like a motherfucker, the bottom switches let me use 500hz and 800dpi always. those are NORMAL settings.
who the fuck would want to use dpi intervals of 450, 1800, or 3500. i suppose there are a few but almost all top gamers use 400 or 800 dpi.
and the usb hertz is laughable because you either have 125 which is the outdated standard. or you have 1000 which has always been proven to be unstable and causes high cpu usage.

i like the direction of their mice recently. simple shapes, no excessive gay looking lights. but every product they've ever released has a significant flaw of some kind, whether its squeaky buttons, multiple firmware upgrades, bad sensor lift off, paper thin mouse feet and on and on. seriously razer get your shit together.

It must not include the 500 hz option because it probably runs stable at 1000, as long as you don't have a ghetto PC. Anyways, you're not going to notice the difference between 500 hz and 1000 hz anyhow.

Seriously bitching over the lack of an 800 dpi switch? lulz... Then use 450 DPI and up your sensitivity, or use 1800 dpi and lower your sensitivity. How is this an issue?

The most important feature of this mouse is that it has no drift control.. aka no mouse correction. That makes this mouse a winner in my book.

um there is a big difference between 500 and 1000hz. i've never seen any mouse yet that does 1000hz stable except surprisingly the fatal1ty 2020. and even when it's stable it rapes your cpu. 500hz is the highest anyone should be using at this point.
450 and 1800 dpi is definitely an issue. it will never feel the same as 800dpi regardless of changing your sensitivity to feel similar.

It's all in your head. Change your sensitivity for the same cm/360 for both 400 and 800 dpi. It will feel exactly the same.

no, it doesn't. maybe in certain games but i know for fact in older games without directinput it doesn't.

Most MICE can handle the upped polling rate, its the CPU and motherboard chipset that get called into question. Any quadcore can handle the polling rate as well as just about any dualcore I would imagine. The chipset also has to be decent. Fortunately for me, I don't have any lag issues if I wanted to use 1000hz.

with regards to the hz rates, are u sure the switch isnt like : top is 125, middle 500 and bottom 1000?

Lets just say the plastic molding was poorly done. You can easily fix this by opening the mouse. There is only one screw under the bottom big skate. Its not the microswitch that is making the noise as someone would expect but the contacts of the top buttons and the plastic shell under the buttons. You can apply grease or smth to the button nib.

yeah, this mouse might be fine when 2 buttons are enough. but what for the rest of people. i don´t think that adding 2 side buttons for example would make the mouse much more expensive.

I wouldn't want side buttons on a small mouse. You don't need them for the great majority of games outside of the MMO genre, anyway. As for browsing the web, just get firegestures.

Or just have one hand on the keyboard for backspace and alt + right.

Would be nice if it were more configurable. Bit weird it having only 125hz or 1000hz when 500hz is probably the most commonly used polling rate.

The dpi settings are rofl.. but I don't really care as I would only use 450dpi anyway. I wonder why they use 450 instead of 400 seeing at multiples of 400 seem to be the standard.

Mouse looks like competition with more simple mice but is rather expensive without any buttons. You're basically paying for the newer sensor and the brand name. I hope some of that money goes towards better quality control.

The shape does look nice though. More appealing than the Salmosa.
