I wouldn't say it's that bad but it just seems it has lost focus and it isn't going anywhere, maybe because it's coming to end as a series and there's little build-up to anything major

The problem with lost is they set the bar too high, it'll never end well because they've given it impossible standards to live up to. The ending is gonna be something shit like "AND IT TURNS OUT THEIR BABIES ARE ALL THEM, FROM THE FUTURE!" and nobody is going to care because of all the mental shit that happens anyway.

although JJ apparently said the explaining everything spoils it (hence they're never going to explain the numbers) as there's no need

me thinks they had a good concept and story to begin with, had no idea how popular it was going to become and needed a way to make it 6 seasons long which fucked it up in a way

none the less, still better than everything else on at the moment, (aside from the wire on bbc!)

From what I've seen, JJ is king of the gimmicks so I don't take anything he says seriously, lost has some good stories in there but the main reason people watch it is to find out what happens. Not explaining everything is probably the worst thing he can do, but probably makes the most sense from his perspective because any explanation he does come up with will be shit.

Also haven't they already explained the numbers? It's something to do with an equation relating to the end of the world or some shit.

I still wonder who's that guy with Jacob on the beach at the beginning of the episode who says he badly wants to kill him. But I guess that's the one who took the appearance of Locke (and Christian probably) since Jacob says that he finally found his loophole. About Jacob himself, I guess it's still too early to wonder who he really is.

I don't care about the bomb right now, since I think it's impossible they decided to kill all the whiney Losties who have been around since day 1. I guess they'll just jump back to the future and Richard will consider they all died in the incident.

I'm more interested in knowing what's the link between Ilana and Jacob since he visited her in that Russian hospital, and then she came with her other peeps to show Locke's body to Richard.
