Event: DHW'08

Since Quake Live hasn't been released yet we won't be able to host our own LAN-servers. We have tried to reach ID-software for 2 months now, trying to come to some sort of agreement. This has sadly not resulted in anything positive.

In order not to have players playing their games on german public servers with 10 spectators in the way we've decided to change the choice of game to Quake 3 Arena (VQ3).

looking at the maps available in QL, I think Q3 is by far the better option right now.... and you could fire up some gtv servers.
stick to Q3 for bigger tourneys until QL is ready for stuff like that... we've all seen qcon fail and that's the best proof to choose Q3.

Not surprised at all. id Software have a practice to NOT respond ANY e-mail concerning the Quake Live service. They even ignore e-mails from Internet providers ASKING to host Quake Live servers.

All participants and spectators of DreamHack are invited to enter TourneyCPM 1v1 when the signups open November 17th, both North American and European players are invited.
