... and it's time to build a new system. So here's a stereotypical 'what should i get' thread. I haven't had much time to research all the hardware so I'm not exactly sure what is the latest and greatest. It'll be a desktop and I won't be moving it around much so size/weight isn't an issue. Cost isn't too important either but I don't want to spend like $500 on a case. I'm looking at:

Good thing is with that CPU, even in 12 months time you'll be able to buy a top of the line gfx card and it probably won't be cpu limited, unlike the hordes of silly heads who are investing in x2 core technolology (that only costs 40-50 pounds cheaper than the Quad core CPU you have listed).
Just get OEM value ram, you don't need flashy ram to overclock the Intels. Mobo? Any decent make that supports that CPU will rock.
