Do not spill an entire cup of hot tea over your 3 day old mouse/cloth mousemat 25 minutes before an important league game.
I'm sure you can imagine my horror as I begin to frantically blow dry the mouse, and then the mousemat which is now a bit crispy round the edges. After the panic abated, the game went ok though, except for my mouse1 dying whilst in a fight with an outgoing efc (d'oh). After a pause and some frenzied clicking around windows it came back to life (phew).
Later the scroll wheel stopped working, but this morning, miraculously it has come back to life. They're made of sterner stuff than you might expect these ms mice! Bet you couldnt spill an (ENTIRE) cup of (VERY HOT) tea of a razer or a logitech and have the mouse fully operational (albeit with a couple of quirks) within 15 minutes!
And we won the league game. I got 3 caps of 5. Top of the table gg :-)
[note to self: begin marketing the new uber under-water, heat resistant gaming mouse, with built in terbo fanz for on the go evaporation. Game whilst drinking hot beverages without fear for your mouse' life. Cause we're all clumsy sometimes.]
