Imo its easier to hit airgibs with high fov, but that is probably just me :s

more vision = easier to track velocity pattern

atm i only use 2 fovs (normal=110 zoom=50)

might as well try different fovs for different weapons if i have time to dedicate :S

I used 110 for the longest time. 102/103 is sexier.

Same with 45.

Load up DM17 (Longest Yard) with a nightmare bot (Sorlag or Anarki for example) and play rocket-only. Try to hit as many air shots as you can.

For me, higher sens and higher fov works with rockets better.
Crosshair is a matter of preference.

You have to be very (very) fast - you've got to predict them and aim ahead by quite a long way, and also move your xhair to the exact point. The sooner you react to the opportunity the easier it is. The further away they are it gets a lot harder. You will get a lot more opportunities (and practice) to do it if you improve your ground rockets, because you can bounce people into the air with well placed shots, making the air rocket easier for you to predict and prepare for. Higher sensitivity usually makes it a bit easier because its faster to move the xhair to the right place (but not so high that it makes it hard to aim). Thats been my experience anyway.

if you go for airrockets you're doing it wrong, they come with time, not something you practice doing. You either change to lg/rg or you know ur rockets well enough to make it when you bounce him

RL to RG is my primary combo. anyways thanks for the tip.

pretty much this. Bouncing repedetly is way better than direct air rockets most of the times anyway

be patient and don't shoot rockets everytime it's reloaded, have mouseaccel, practice

just shoot rockets into the air like a dumbass and you will succeed.

Wait until he hits the floor and bounce him (unless you don't have time because of low hp/tdm etc). Seriously I should do this more often in duel. These missed air rockets cost me a lot of hp.
Often hitting direct rocket against guy with lg is worse than bouncing him because it doesn't break his lg lock. and pushes him away from you.

I often have this issue, I will hit a nice air rocket but the enemy will have a fixed lg lock.
