i bet the game is ported to cryengine 3, you can edit crysis 1 maps on the crysis 2 editor

It's funny how the newer the engine gets the shittier it looks.

Crysis 1 looks MUCH better than Crysis 2. I wonder if Crysis 3 will look shittier than the previous two games.

Well cryengine 2 was made to work on consoles from the ground up so it's no surprise that cryengine 1 although a couple of years old, being pc exclusive actually has better visuals.
Xbox 360 came out 2 years before crysis and ps3 1 year before.

I thought they tried running Crysis 1 on the consoles but the hardware wasn't fast enough to run it.

There you go,consoles weren't powerful enough so they had to tailor make an engine similar that could run on them
