First out in these series is Lexer, former QuakeCon champion and top strategy duelist, who was seeded #1 for this tourney.

Do you feel a player can improve by configging, not least the dreaded shaft?
Yes. But I haven't configged primarily for aim. I could have had different settings and get better aim. But I've made a config that is very comfortable to play with, that's more important to me.
Back when you started, did you make your own config from scratch, or did you get your Hero's config and change it to your preferences? :P
No, I made it from the beginning... from zero.
Do you have a great PC, or do you own even with an old PC?
I have a good computer. But most Russians have very bad connections. So we play a lot in clubs.
LANs, or internet Cafés?
We play against each other in the clubs but many clubs have a good internet connection.

(sly smile) I've seen that here. (Holds up a pack of cigarettes+lighter) No, I only smoke.
Back to configs. Do you use zoom a lot? Some players never zoom.
For 2 years I never used zoom. But now that I've started playing again I've had to use zoom when railing to hit the shots. I zoom over 50% of the time when railing.
How important is the sitting position in order to own?
Very important. Yes.
But it looks like Cooller is the only one of you playing "russian style" here... :P
I don't play russian style. It's not right for me.
What's the best setup (mouse/pad/keyboard/headphones)? The one you have, or do you want something better?
I think Genius mousepads are best, and KOSS headphones are very good. (He played with MX500 at QLAN.)
Are you one of those who constantly fiddle with the config, there's always some little thing to tweak? :D
I config a little. But I'm pretty much satisfied with my config now. I changed my rail before this LAN.
How would you describe your playing style? Many have accused you of playing very defensively ;)
I adapt to my enemy's style. It's what works for me.
How do you feel about the arrangers seeding you as #1?
I don't know. I haven't played for half a year, and now I've played a month before this LAN.
Are you satisifed with your result?
I think I would have a chance. But now I think I didn't know some of the Swedish tactics. Yes, tactics, I lost some matches because I played a little stupid, I think.
