cYtOsTaTiCa: Have you been practicing a lot for LanArena7?
Luke: I tried to get them too, but I think we've managed to play about 4 or 5 games in the last 2-3 weeks (as in 4 or 5 20 min maps :P).

cYtOsTaTiCa: What do you think about the map-list?
Luke: I would have liked for them to add q3dm7 and either dm6tmp or ospdm6, I think maybe 3 maps is a little too narrow a range. I still think the tournament will be really exciting to watch regardless of the map list.

cYtOsTaTiCa: Do you think q3dm6 is one of the most played warmaps ever but still a very tactical and good one?
Luke: I think dm6 is a very FFA'ish map, but there is also a lot of tactics involved in doing the right thing when you manage to take control, it's certainly not the most tactical map to play, but I do think it's one of the most exciting to watch :>.

cYtOsTaTiCa: Does Unreal will have a coach at Paris?
Luke: No, I don't think we will, we don't have a sponsor to pay for us to go to the event, and our coach doesn't have enough money to pay for himself to go, so it's pretty unlikely that we will have anyone there to coach us.

cYtOsTaTiCa: It's kinda weird Unreal doesn't have a sponsor, uh? You ended up fourth in the previous Eurocup, playing the finals of EuroCup5, selected to LanArena7, but still, no sponsor. How comes?
Luke: I dunno :>. We did have one, a company called Thrustworld who run an online gaming service, but I think money is a little tight for them right now so they are not able to pay for us to go to events. So if anyone out there reading this is looking for a good clan to sponsor, you know where to come ;P.

cYtOsTaTiCa: How do you think about pro-gaming? Do you think it's possible?
Luke: Well I have to say I'm kinnda cynical about that. I would define being a "pro-gamer" as being able to make enough money to live on solely from playing a game, and in all honesty I really don't think that's possible for more than about 5-10 individuals atm (outwith Korea). I don't see any significant amount of investment which is gonna change that coming right now so I'd have to say no tbh.

cYtOsTaTiCa: Do you think Unreal can win LanArena7?
Luke: Well, I'd have to say no to that. Maybe if we had put in a bit more practice we would have had a chance, but right now I don't think our teamplay is good enough to win an event like LanArena7.

cYtOsTaTiCa: Can you tell us Unreal's starting line?
Luke: It will most probably be blokey, requiem, violator and myself. They all rock, except for Luke I heard he is shit :P.

cYtOsTaTiCa: What do you think about the American teams? "Let's kick their dirty USA'ish ass" or "Let's be nice to them because I never met them"?
Luke: Well tbh I'm just intrested too see how their slower more tactical game works against the European style which is way way more cess based.

cYtOsTaTiCa: Do you think the gaming community most organise like back in the days a EUR-USA game?
Luke: Well I think it'd be nice yeah, the last time that was done was xsi2, and that was far more duel based that teamplay. I'd like to see a teamplay tournament with say the top 4 clans from both USA and Europe fighting it out against each other (maybe XSR should organise something *hint* :P).
