Nick: Shirunai
Name: Andre Nordin
Clan: northstars (Z)
Age: 19

hOly: Hi Andre, tell us a little story about northstars.
Shirunai: Everything started 3 of our members had a clan named Quadhunters, when Spripe said quadhunters will be sponsored with a 10mbit connection and a place to play from. Quadhunters asked Shirunai to join (former Captain player) and so he did, after that Corvus, Labur and Krauser joined aswell. We felt that Quadhunters was just to unserious name so we changed to Northstars and began practicing hard (148tdm maps in 8weeks) for a upcoming lan we finished second. We have always been together at lan so our teamplay has always been on top.

hOly: Why northstars, who created this clanname?
Shirunai: Mostly it was me who thought Quadhunters was to geeky so i felt to change it to Northstars. We thought of many names and my was the nicest one, I was inspired by Fist of the Northstar (anime film) and Quadarena allstars so Northstars felt good since we live up in the north and we knew we would be good someday :).

hOly: Would you descirbe all northstars members? Those going to Paris.
Shirunai:
Krauser - He is always quiet, he always wants to be best so he can be cocky to the ones who got lower skill then he does. Northstars keyplayer for this event no doubt about it.
Wader - The big guy who sais 'fittunge' all the time (directly translated pussy-kid), always trying to diss everyone.
Dimebag - He is a little guy in his best years (16years old) and kinda cute, always when we are in the southern sweden all the girls are chasing him. He has a agressive style of playing and I think his shaft is too good to be true.
Labur - The mature guy, Northstars own little daddy, he is a wery kind person and is always there for you and in his spare time he plays soccer and fishing a lot.
Basse - Or should we say pluton chief Sebastian, he will get in the military next year and he is just a regluar guy who studies and eat donner kebab like we all do.

hOly: How did you practice before LA7?
Shirunai: We havent pracced anything at all for 5weeks, thats really dumb since all the others clans have. This weekend we took the car 60kilometers to QPO´s place at nine-studios we felt the whip all Friday and got more even on Saturday and Sunday. We will practice from basses home everyday the last 4days.

hOly: What do you think about the map-pack for LA7? Do you feel strong on this maps or not really?
Shirunai: We think the map list is best we have seen in quite some time, ospdm6 was a map who was based on rails and not some good tactics, i think we will be strong on all those maps.

hOly: Who are you afraid of most ?
Shirunai: Very hard to tell. The best clans in the world, ok I will try Ice Climber, QPO and Forze and the American teams even the UK guys is going strong this time. Holy I mean there are so many great teams out there... being top3 will be hard as hell.

hOly: Are you looking for a revange against Ice Climbers ? They kicked you out of Eurocup V finals, remember :) ?
Shirunai: No, we are not looking for a revange both IC and we know are really equal they deserved the spot in the ec5 final. The only thing we are focusing for is Lanarena event to be top3 and show that we are the top in the world and also earn some money. This will be the last event for many clans even for us maybe, nothing official yet.

hOly: Let's try to guess the top6. (my top6 is 1st-qpo, 2nd-n*, 3rd-gdz, 4th-ic, 5th-forZe, 6th-519 - am I crazy ? :)).
Shirunai: My types:
1. qpo
2. ic
3. n*
4. forZe
5. V
6. 519
Sweden top3 ;). One of theese ones will win.

hOly: Let's say it's Sundays late evening and you have just won Lan Arena 7. What are you going to do now?
Shirunai: Hard question I really don't know, I think we will have to take a flight home after we won and after that we will be sitting in the car for the next 6hours and be talking about all those great things they did in quake3. I don't think we will be in a party mode because all of the trips and late nights.

hOly: Ok, thanks for your time, if you want to greetz someone you can do it, right now.
Shirunai: The scandinavian quake3 comunity and the qpo guys for letting us lan in their awsome plays, maybe i should thank nine-studios because they were the one who let us be there (www.nine.se)
