boo hoo

Again ?!

Wonder if Lotus has had time to practice...

On 3 days notice hes managed to book all flights and is coming to bootcamp with us, so I'm not sure what stryfe is really on about TBH.

According to that Stryfe's real reason(s) will keep us wondering. Either way it sounds good; hope Lotus can get in shape quickly.

BTW, who's "us" and where if you don't mind me asking. ;)

Well it isn't much of a secret, considering astz pasted it in a big irc channel by accident rofl.

Its kind of a ridiculous bootcamp theres going to be: astz, hypno, combatcarl, lotus, r0x, devilmc and myself. All in portugal, so basically we can play half of ESWC there. But this way I guess there will always be people to play and fun to be had.

Wow, that's quite a lineup, not to mention a bootcamp. I'm sure that'll help you a lot, heh. Pics and demos please. ;D

agreed! pics or die!!

maybe you should go & chaperone :D lol

I bet it would be too much of a distraction :>

fnatic\R0X has an FTP with a lot of pictures and videos from the bootcamp.

There's too much incriminating material in here...

Sponsor never offered to send me to the bootcamp with everyone else, only CC was given that option because of GGL paying the first leg of his trip. I could not even get a reply back for my initial flight TO France from USA until recently.

Lotus paid out of his own pocket, if he wants to spend his money on all that, that's his desicion and good luck to him with the bootcamp. If he can get out of groups, I think it would be worth the trip for him but he obviously going to lose money unless he makes top 3.

For me its pointless to get on a plane last minute, make a 7 hour flight and go through the entire trip with the shape my back is in at the moment, coupled with me being completley out of practice and not prepared in the slightest to play against top players practicing for 9 straight days. It's really a useless trip and a waste of money, for me at least.

Gotta think priorities, and gaming definitely is not and has not been one of them for a while now, I seriously don't even know how I qualified...

It's really sad to hear that. Either way you did the right thing, since gaming isn't your main focus ATM. It's still is a shame not to see you there, this being the last major UT2004 tourney. It would've been nice to see all of the classic superstars (not that Lotus isn't one, but you and CC have taken over the American UT scene since WCG2003) compete for one last time.
And why'd you qualify? Come on man: experience man, experience. I'd say you've definitely been around the block.

I thought getting drunk, faking schwarzeneger and having fun with stupid french people like me were your main focus atm :/

See you maybe in TDM :)

He's not going to lose any money now since his entire flight package was like ~1300 and the processor he just won at MML4 is going to sell for near that, on top of the money he got for placing 2nd.

Ownage!

his assumed loss of money will be exactly the same regardless if he can afford it or not?

didnt eswc took there time telling the .ru guys. and they need to apply for papers and shit to get into the .eu . or sumin

I personally think the americans just fear, only CC seems to have überballs.

I personally think you are a moron.

Dreg is dropping for the UK and giving his spot to me :D

this is ut2004, get out!

pro insta all the way
