I went with a bunch of guys and we were cracking up with laughter. I guess you need to be in the right frame of mind and with the right people to enjoy this film.

Very true, some moments did crack me up and were very amusing maybe I was a tad harsh, but I still think it's overated :(

Agree here, I went with a bunch of friends as well, the atmosphere in the movie theater was great cause everyone was just cracking up so badly. Atmosphere helped the humour along for sure. The piss takes of traditional hollywood 'america will save the day' was hilarious.

Team America has to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It may not be everybody's type of humour, and you have to appreciate how the the makers of the movie rip off the fact that they are using puppets. Eg. sex scene. My favourite part was the vomiting scene tho. OMFROFL

The movie was OK, gave it a 6 (of 10) on imdb. It's always fun to listen to the background music of the Stone/Parker-movies, like in Baseketball ("look out ahead, there's a truck changing lanes, you've got some yellow crumbs on your upper lip" and so on :)), but some of the points of the movie didn't really get to me. But, like I said. OK.

I watched it with friends at school (in a couch eh) and we were laughing all the time. The sex scene made me laugh so hard it got my jaw, throat and upper chest in pain.

i had a dvd screener of this movie. oh man, it's friggin' hillarious. my dad took it on a business trip and had 50 eyar old CEO's and business men wanting to skip meetings to watch it. and if you don't like this movie, i'll drill two holes in your dick, so the next time you pee, you'll piss in all different directions.

It certainly had it's moments, but I laughed way more when I saw the South Park movie. Felt like they tried too hard in this movie.

Aza, I notice that the only people who do not find this movie funny or "good" are those who don't actually get the jokes. You take a lot of it at face value, but most my laughs came from nuances. On the other hand, there is a possibility you forgot to read the disclaimer which says it isn't for minors like you :) (Also, do not see it if you consider youself morally pure)
For some people the funny is in hearing "dick" for others it's in the weapon of the suicide: hammer and Hanz Blix skeleton :)
What is characteristic of this movie is that every time there is a "stupid" joke, there is an unevident for many meaning. Not a very funny one by the way.
