EDIT: I forgot to add that the color properties doesn't show up in other browsers than IE because it's IE-specific DHTML. It can't be done the same way without it, I'm afraid - except for a Java applet.

I guess Opera fell for it and follows IE-standards instead of the global W3C ones (in opposite to Mozilla-based browsers). Does the site (tables etc) still look like utter shite in Opera though? Hasn't used it for eons.

stop trying to sound smart! we know what the W3C is. :)
and all popular browsers advertised themselves as Mozilla compliant at one point :) MS IE still does as far as I know but I haven't used any of the new releases (SP2).
heh, if I recall correctly the original Opera used some of MS IE's browser controls. I don't think they do now, but I'm not entirely sure. and opera is basically free to download with a banner or google ads (I think) so go download it.


And btw.. what are IE standards? :o?

The site looks excellent in Opera AFAIK. It's the only one I'm using and have been using. There are some errors at times tough, but not really about the way things look.

After I reply and it posts it and displays the site again the replay field is gone.

I haven't had that in a while. Opera used to be buggy with ESR, but can't find any bugs nowadays, which is good.

I reckon it's better not to follow all standards since most sites are coded somewhat sloppily (no offence to Sujoy!) and are thus not 100% compliant. Who cares, let the browser do the figuring out of what the coder _tried_ to do.

I'm really impressed with this site. And even more so if I take into consideration that Sujoy isn't a webdesigner nor a site developer. I wouldn't trade this site for any other out there when it comes to functionality etc.. Even if the community followed. If you get what I mean.
