This was a blast! Loads of fun and entertainment. We started organizing this thing back in mid-April and it was much more successful than we expected or could have hoped for. There were some ups and downs along the way, mistakes were made, but fun was always had in the process.

My personal thanks to all the mappers who stepped up and invested a ton of time into making maps for the cup. Also thanks to wm_htprankster who is truly the heart/mind of the whole Reflex.Racing and World Cup endeavor. Thanks to CrazyAl who showed up every Sunday to stream/cast with me and who also streamed throughout the week and generally hyped the cup. And a whole ton of other people who I'll skip (deal with it) who I thank at the end of the stream.

decent maps overall. looking good, wonder how usual Q3DF guys would've placed if tried reflex.

Judging by breaker's and lithz's performance, I'd assume all the top DF guys would've done quite well if they had the time/motivation. I had hoped more DF players would've joined in but really grateful to breaker and lithz for participating each week. In the end, the whole cup turned out much better because of their participation.

I know Reflex is not as "serious" as DeFRaG in general but I think it can still be fun for everyone. There's enough shared interest between the Reflex Race and DeFRaG communities that I hope more DF players participate in the future.

I'm more interested in wep runs tho, especially when there are different paths and no obvious choice. Anyway, watching the recaps was fun. tnx
