Can't install Quake 4 :((( I get some DLL error (DLL file not registered) in Dutch.

Googling the problem doesn't help...

I'm on win7 64 bit... anyone has a solution?

I've reinstalled the Q4 again getting the rust off again is awesome, had a loads of fun jamming, I stopped playing when Placebo effect became a popular duel map lol, I'll have to learn torment and ravage too then.

Crouch sliding is so fun, damn I don't know why we ever gave up on q4.

i have never felt so good in the context of movement as with Quake4 game. The crouchsliding was really something inventive. IDsoftware though, always invented something new in fps genre.
We gave up on q4 because of constant bashing and negativity about it from q3 tryhards and fangays.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Avek crouch sliding off the shoulder of Monsoon. I watched hyperblaster glitter in the dark near the jumppads. All those moments will be lost in overtime, like nades...in...teleporters. Time to frag.

I have Q4 but the non steam version. I have 1.4.2 and cant find the 1.4.3 update in-game or on google. I have q4max 0.82 installed and when I try to connect to the q4reborn serv it just says connecting and it doesnt download any files (I have allowdownload enabled). What do?

Theres no 1.4.3 patch for windows standalone version afaik. 1.4.3 is steam only patch.
The rules state 1.4.2 for this cup

Then why can my m8 with the steam 1.4.3 version connect to the q4reborn servers but i cant? It asks me to download some game files, I click accept and it just stays on connecting... forever. No error message in the console
