This keyboard is awesome. I ordered it about a week ago, and it arrived right before I got home. I actually called my house half an hour earlier and the person who was here said no packages had arrived, and then half an hour later I arrived to this sexy box with sexy sex in it. Not literal sex though.

Anyway, it feels really nice. It's still hard switching to this type of keyboard from some $12 membrane piece of garbage, but I can sort-of tell what all the hype is about. Ducky is also a really cool company.

When I ordered it from mechanicalkeyboards.com, I added a note saying that this was a lot of money (the entire thing, plus shipping, was around $170), and I actually got a personalised message on the invoice, saying, "this is a piece of paper". It's not much, but it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that this isn't some mass-produced thing, but instead that there's at least some care put into every order.

It's super loud. I pressed one button and I knew, this was going to suck. Luckily, I also ordered some O-rings a few days ago, so they should be here this week as well. That will help lower the noise substantially. I can't wait to start playing games with this bad boy. Armed with both a Puretrak Talent and a Ducky keyboard, my LG will be godly now, right!?!?

End of journal.

P.S. After using it for less than half an hour, it seems really easy to hit the caps lock key unintentionally, and ctrl + shift is an awkward combination to press.
