Hey,

I'm thinking about selling my desktop PC and invest into a laptop.

Sadly, my financial background is not too bright, on the contrary, it's quite limited, so I'm looking for something around 400-450 dollars.

My gaming is almost only QL, so it's an absolute necessity to run the game stable 125 fps on any map with 8-16 players, under Win7 x64.

I prefer stability and reliability over performance, so I'm mainly into Lenovo, Toshiba and Fujitsu models.

What I found so far is something like this;

1)
Lenovo IdeaPad G585
AMD E Series E1-1200 @ 1.4 GHz, dual core
8GB DDR3 1066MHz
ATI Radeon HD6370 1 GB

QL is more CPU-demanding, than VGA-dependent, so the CPU concerns me a bit.

2)
Fujitsu Lifebook A512
Intel® Pentium Dual Core™ B960
4GB DDR3
Intel® HD Graphics 2000

The CPU is much better, but this time, that Intel HD 2000 is the source of unsureness. : /

Besides QL, only flawless 1080p Blu-ray playback is a must, but this is something that I shouldn't be too concerned about; both AMD APUs and Intel HDs are fine with that. But QL is another story.

Edit: Meanwhile, I looked a bit further and found 2 other machines, but these are used.

3) Acer 9920
C2 T7500 2.2 GHz
2GB DDR2 800 (+1 free slot)
GeForce 8600M GT 512MB
160GB HDD (+1 free slot)
LiteOn DS8A1P DVD W/RW DL
20" 1680x1050
Intel 4965AGN Wi-fi
Perfect battery
illuminated, full keyboard
pretty nice condition
box

My friend selling it for 430 dollars. Is it worth it? What do you guys think?

4) HP nx9420
C2 T5500 1.66 GHz
4 GB DDR2
Mobility Radeon X1600 256 MB
300 GB HDD
DVD W/RW DL
17" 1400x900
battery 1,5-2 hours
full keyboard

Visually it's not in mint condition, but it's not too bad. The price is 235 dollars.

Can you share some RELEVANT )) thoughts, experiences and such about this matter? Help out a fellow quaker in the time of need. ^^
