How about dignity enough to put subtitles into that.

- If there is a duel competition @dh, rapha comes for sure. If a tdm team needs a 4th player,
he'd consider joining them.
- How rapha stays focused in important matches (iem finals etc.): he realizes that now is the
time to shine, he won't get another chance to make up for it, goal is to make the situation the
best for him.
- his favorite tournament: quakecon (currently), eswc (overall); cooller agrees on quakecon.
- he'll participate in online cups if his schedule allows him to: autumn league, csn and
jeesports.
- ofc he'd love if quake was bigger, but he anticipated that ql will eventually be in decline and
prepared himself for it (shifting focus on school.)
- demos he used to watch to get better: cooller, zero4 (noticed things he liked and things he
didn't, mixed it up with his own playstyle)
- if quake dies, he's not sure if he'd switch to another game (maybe after some time); rts
games are not fun for him to play; fps preferred.
- rapha didn't follow the current tdm games (denmark vs. france)
- rapha never played cs (maybe when he was 12); watches some when he is at a tournament

- advice for new players wanting to get better: play ca a little bit (grapsing combat), work
on movement (it opens up options+ability to anticipate where opponents can be); then go for
tdm (combat, positiong, timing), then proceed to duel (1h a day, 7h a week)
- origin of his nick: comes from the bible (rapha means healer), scarface was his first
nickname.
- thoughts on id software: they have to make something that appeals to more people, but
still has esport elements in it (everyone goes for CoD), but he can't pinpoint the exact problem; he didn't try rage.
- games outside of quake: left4dead, metal gear, god of war, ninja gaiden
- the future: not sure what to do (profession), college starts in spring time, no gaming forever.
- in ten years: working a job he enjoys, having a family, helping others in need.
- girlfriend: not at the moment.

settled this time; even if he doesn't like the president, not all problems america is facing can

to save, just getting as much as possible, then see what he can use.
- on cypher vs. strenx @quakecon: strenx hitting many clutch shots.
- ok for rapha if his kids would play video games; he wouldn't encourage competitive gaming
- rapha doesn't regret his quake career (traveling, meeting different personalities, allowing
him to go to school)
- rapha is looking into setting up quake lessons: low-skilled players $50, middle-high up to
$75.
- @school: not the best study-habits, looks forward to college, only takes stuff he's really
interessted in.
- parents attitude towards esport: mother was hesitant at first, but saw the opportunity
rapha had; can't comment on his fathers behalf, since he passed away before shane got
into esports.
- drinks almost no alcohol, only a little now and then
- if russia was the same for quake as south korea is for sc, would rapha move to russia? yes,
if it seems worth it, challenging himself, learning new things, a new language, he'd do it for 1
or 2 years.
- good practice in america is difficult; dahang isn't playing at the moment, dkt has a son now,
chance doesn't play much. he looks for players who are pretty decent on 1 or 2 maps, setting
goals for himself (controling certain parts of the map, work on certain battle situations, making
sure he doesn't die)

even community colleges are somewhat expensive in america, and moreso in california (if that's where he's planning to go). he actually should put of college for one more year though, because iirc if you live there one year you become a cali resident === way cheaper college tuition. also it's very common to go to a community college for generals then transfer out to a 4 year or 6 year program at a university.

iirc he's from illinois and yes it affects the price. i lived out in cali for a few months and when i applied they told me i'd be better off waiting because its really THAT much cheaper.
