i watched the UK vs hungary game... rofl at UK players really, one of them has the rockets of a guy who just started playing, and that VOR or w/e is like not shooting people randomly??? and like refuses to shoot plasma gun unless its a guranteed hit, then i checked his QL profile and noticed his ABSURD accuracy, so i guess this fool is just playing for that, which is kinda sad... I'm not sure why you're so bothered about it but I'll explain one of those games as it was last night.

On that DM20 I think I had LG once, used it to kill one person, who from what I can remember was caught off-guard and couldn't dodge in the position I attacked from. I was primarily playing RA which meant my main weapons were MG, SG, RG and occasionally RL and PG. It should be pretty obvious that nobody in the world will hit 62% using it a lot. If you're so interested you can even have the demo if you want.

Again, I'm not sure why you're so convinced that the UK team is so bad, or why you're so aggressive about it and care so much. Without deus we're not that good sure, but with him we've had some fairly good results, but as he's sometimes not available we have to make do with what we have. There's literally 8 or 9 UK players who actively compete in the various QL TDM competitions, not a hell of a lot to choose from.

If you can bring UK to a respectable level again, my hats off to you.

It's the net of the team that counts, one player could get a good net while causing another player to get a bad one because they weren't doing their job.

UK's TDM history is decent but by no means phenomenal, ironfist won the final EC in dodgy circumstances and the UK never really achieved anything great at a national level either.

How many TDM LANs or CB NationCups did the UK/UK clans win again? hmm...

Not to mention that there are more nations that can compete at a high level in QL TDM due to the far superior netcode.

Sure add Jay to the UK squad and they would be better but don't kid yourself that the team is doing considerably worse, the others are simply now on a level playing field.

Poland, Finland, Hungary etc simply couldn't compete back in the days of OSP but they can now.

Whats not respectable about the UK's performances so far?

We won our group in QQC beating Denmark, Iceland, Russia and we beat Finland in the playoffs. Ending in 5th spot.

In Clanbase we finished 4th beating Hungary on the way.

That means 4 of the teams in our ENC group we already beat when deus played. Bare in mind most of our losses have come when he did not play and the two losses when he did play vs Austria 2-1 and Poland 2-0, were both amazingly close games that literally could have both been 2-0 to us.

I don't think we are some amazing team but I don't think we are much different then any other nation out there. Hey other big nations of the past like Germany are not even in ENC. Where did Sweden place in QQC..?

Firstly, you can't tell how many shots he took with the LG in those games to get those statistics, there's no need to sustain such statistics for 20 minutes if you barely get a chance to use it.

If he's not playing LG room, it's likely he won't have so many LG's throughout the course of the game. Perhaps he's not playing LG because it's been decided that someone else should.

I've gone entire games without using an LG or an RG before, or only briefly using them and getting some insanely high statistics.

It's easy to sit there and say "oh he doesn't get good a good net" but with no health or armour pickup statistics that's grossly unfair.

You miss the point slightly, yes i know it's practically impossible to hit above 50% lg if you use it constantly (after hitbox change atleast), However vor's stats on LG is IIRC 47%, if he had that strong an aim it would be pretty damn stupid to have anyone else but him on LG where possible, unless ofcourse he only gets that high by playing lesser skilled players in CA or by playing a lot more before the hitbox change, either way it still shows that it's not correct and he's farmed it up.

With that said i after reading some more replies it was probably bad judgement on my part, and probably just 1 or 2 moments on stream that i caught him doing what seemed to be stat whoring. To be completely honest i only watched around 3 streams of team uk, 2 of them vs Hungary recently. I'm not going to sit here and say that he doesn't stat whore even in the slightest completely though, but i was definetley wrong in my earlier posts, we all learn. Though to be completely honest i didn't even want this to go into some flame war, i was just more complaining about the state of the UK team rather than vor's playstyle/whatever you want to call it.
