The famous Eastern European tournament named ASUS, had it’s 2009 spring event this weekend in
Moscow, Russia. The complete event is split up into two parts, the first event being played on May 23rd and 24th, while the second part will be on the following weekend on May 30th and the 31st.
StarCraft: BroodWar received 25,000 rubles in total prizes, with 32 players competing in the event.
CyberFight.ru, the organizers of the ASUS events recently announced the addition of new online events that will take place during the summer, spring, winter, and autumn.
The top players from the online events will earn free tickets to the ASUS lan events later that year, as well as various prizes from sponsors. The Starcraft online portion will consist of 64 players.
