Yeah, Nehahra is pretty damn cool. It's made for quake, should stay on quake. I really like the later levels alot more than the starting base levels though.

I meant more the movie part. I'd love to see that redone with a bit better voice acting and some high quality models and textures.

I dunno. I mean the pacing (talking about the movie, here) is a bit off here and there, some scenes tend to drag, and there are some silly things i felt should have been left out, but overall it's a fantastic effort. The maps are beautiful, the characters are well developed and compelling (especially Phil, that annoying fucker), the plot is basically everything you could possibly ever squeeze out of the Q1 storyline, shaping it into something coherent and logical, and the voice acting is okay (considering it was all made by one guy). I really liked the music, too, the piece used for transitions specifically. There are some really powerful scenes in this thing, like when the Enforcer boss makes his "decision", or the trial sequence.

It's especially impressive if you dabbled in Q1 modding and know how atrociously difficult it would be to pull off these scenes on that game. I would be hard pressed to point towards a better piece of machinima, though i am highly biased towards oldschool efforts like this one. Maybe Freeman's Mind or Red vs Blue, but even so, they are comedies and this has a far more serious edge to it. It instantly replaced Devil's Covenant as my favourite "serious" Q1 movie.
