Haha..been there, done that. In the end i always end up sitting in the evening and borring the shit out of me, and why should a tv be a better alternative than gaming? At least you have a choise in what you play and do in the later.
Entertainment is a huge part of a humans life, and you dont need to feel bad, unsocial or geeky just because you enjoy to play online games. The dangerous part is when it becomes too much, and when you spend hours on refreshing xsr a million times a day and visiting the same webpages over and over again throughout the day, or get mirc installed. Life is too short to read and reply to "exciting" forum posts.

i have an average of 2,2 posts a day on xsr...i wouldn't say that's excessive..

you obviously have NO IDEA what you're talking about. resident evil two is a complete disgrace to the series.
resident evil four is the only one, other than the original, worth mention. both four and the original are masterworks.

I had re2. I had a fucking ORIGINAL resident evil 2 for the PC, a glorious old-school box with magnificent artwork.
And I sold it.
it was one of the games i remember most, ever, played it when i was like 10, it terrified me like nothing else. seriously. it prob changed me as a person... because now very little movies or games scare me.
I have to see if I can get re2 somewhere... off ebay or smtg... yes RE2 was excellent... im just playing through RE1 now... its fucking hard!! and really scary, man theres no excuse for why an old ass game like resident evil 1 can scare me more than F.E.A.R.
re3 was like hmm whatever.. lacked character development and that general sense of intrigue, that sense of 'shit i have to get smtg done (find bravo team/ claire)' present in previous games. the atmosphere in re3 was generally chaotic coz it was in racoon city and nemesis would just appear randomly... re4! its gonna be released on pc, cant wait to get it :D

I have the same problem,I heard there was a solution called "Quake 4" (you might not of heard of it) but after trying it I found it didn't cure the problem only made it worse.

RIght on. Just stop playing if you need...why uninstall anything...its so much trouble to install especially if you are used to having like 20 games installed

Uninstalling them isn't enough. You'll have to get rid of them completely inc the CD keys :) Else you'll end up downloading them. Once that is done my friend you are free!

hmm normal life is a boring thing. with games you can escape from the reality, its more fun . so install quake 3 again :) i had uninstalled quake 3 ,but after a week its back on my harddisk:X
