dubstep has been around since 2001/2, it emerged from dnb death, just like the reinvention of proper hardcore, those who stuck with hardcore while dark dnb was the main scene and everyone made the endless amount of tunes, went off and made hardstyle

dutch have proper hardcore, international hardcore, in briton it still called gabba, in holland they will say gabber, which is they`re hardcore scene, while uk hardcore goes under the name happy hardcore, which is a whole different scene and no headliners are known overseas

those into happy hardcore in briton dont know nothing about gabba/international hardcore, they think its dead and cant mix hardcore sets out of the tunes, they all end up with some shit a 12 year old could do

gabba/proper/interanational hardcore is 4x harder and heavier then uk happy hardcore hz of the bass and kicks

in the early 90s all hardcore was 1 scene, in 96 when dark dnb was around and started taking over, vibes and sy made light hearthed tunes when all hardcore "died" and ended up creating happy hardcore

first use pot and get in a state of doziness that will disable you to go to the computer and turn the mix off. after a few hours/days you will get used to it

typical dub/dnb - lots of low bass and no kick bass. mixed to sound good on cheaper systems or PA speaker systems which both have too little low bass or overemphasized kick bass

doesnt sound right on a proper hifi system. that's why i've never given this kind of music much attention. it's a shame, because some tracks sound pretty interesting.. but every kind of music should be mixed neutrally to sound good on a wide range of speaker systems

actually tom's mix is not bad mastered, it sounds fine on my monitor equip and really neutral. ill need a damn amount of drugs to enjoy hardtechno, thunderdome related kicks nowadays without feeling like a 10 year old boy.

most of the tracks were ripped at 320 and then its mastered at 320 so theres a fair bit of loss goin on i'm afraid. 90% of the tracks arent available in flac
