That might be a nice mod, I used the azures for a few months and while I loved the sensor and feel of the switches the shape of the mouse made my hand cramp during extended use.
it depends on the azureus PCB's layout and size.
can you cut it to make fit while it still works?
have you dedicated pins where you can connect the kinzu buttons to?
tt azurues has 2 pcb. part with sensor is very similar to kinzu pcb (dimensions). i want to swap this part of pcbs.
another thing is switches. i want to swap azurues omrons with kinzu ttcs. m1, m2, scroll wheel and his button should works. dpi button won't work because azurues has only 3 buttons and have dpi switcher of the bottom.
and the last thing is painting. my kinzu has faded coating so i'll use black matte spray.
if it has 2 pcb's, then it will have dedicated connection on the main-PCB for the buttons, so go for it.
to get the TTC's out of the button-PCB can be tricky, because they used very tiny pin-holes.
and don't expect the soldering to be as easy as one would expect, it can be pretty frustrating sometimes when you don't have experience with it.
