Quakecon 2005 has now opened! here in Grapevine, Texas at the Gaylord convention centre.

Luckily, we were able to get into the event before it kicked off thanks to the guys at Intel giving iTG a spot on their booth. With Creative supporting us with speaker systems, Intel and Dell powering our PC's via their awesome XPC and XPS range, we were also able to grab an early look at Quake 4 in all its glory.

To help get this out to the wider communities interested in the new game, we recorded some footage in 640x480 high quality quicktime and thanks to our hosting friends at Gamecloud and Filecloud, we are now able to offer you guys TWO exclusive, never seen before videos of Quake 4.

iTG will also be attempting to bring live video stream of Quake 4 in action during Quakecon 2005 with details still being ironed out, so watch this space!

Later on today, we will be making a further video with someone playing who knows how to play Quake!, which means the physics and gamespeed should be more evident than the files posted today. These are after all, just initial sneek peaks!
