32nd and aAa confirms attending QLAN2 (84 comments)

Both,

Against All Authority and

32nd CoRe confirmed their spot for the QLAN2 tournament in Sweden next month.

aAa and 32nd will be attending in both CTF and TDM tournament.
Some time ago,

Cloud9 already confirmed their spot, they will also be attending both tournaments to compete against the Europeans.
The lineups will be:

32nd: sifer ; squall ; coro ; VeRTeX ; forever and coach tdo.
aAa: kazuyama ; thefou ; AppleSeed ; penx ; raoul and coach jazka.
Cloud9: czm ; cl0ck ; viju ; yrim and tim.

On top of that, many top Swedish CTF teams also confirmed their spot, such as

wolfClaw,

reCap and

Clan FOE.

The Russians will most likely attend with two TDM teams, not Cyberfight but Team Moscow and a mixed team.
The team of Moscow will be

Polosatiy,

Mikes,

Cooller and

jibo. The mixed team will most likely be

morfez,

spg,

ins and

keep3r.

Then he s rather quiet on the server \o/

Cloud 9 is going to win it all, none of these other teams can compete with them. Cloud 9 has been practicing non-stop the last month or so and with a lineup that is even better than their Quakecon lineup, I don't see how they will lose.

Praccying 5v5, vs americans that play 4v4? I think you underestimate europeans.. Alot of the good europeans can't make it to quakecon because of money issues.

im tired of euros always saying that North Americans don't play 5v5. Quite frankly we play more 5v5 ctf than 4v4. Its not that different really, just one more player that will spawn to machinegun the flag carrier to death.

I expect a lot of 32nd as I said already, I tasted something of squall's lan aim already on regroup. 32nd is a team with a lot of team experiences in 5v5. They play overall much more games in leagues and cups then Cloud 9 does. I think that cloud 9 needs to get it more from their amazing skills. But then again, a def with sifer and squall isnt that easy to brake either. VeRTeX is like the best attacker in Europe and then you have forever + coro. Gonna be interesting :)

It sure is gonna be interesting, but as I said, I've never seen such a disciplined team as Cloud9, and I am sure they will be exceptionally well prepared for the tourney. I for sure am gonna get front seats for this tourney :)

His CTF clan is xYz, but that team aint attending QLAN2 and 32nd needed a good attacker because violator and da toeter wasnt able to go.

Hahha I like the comment about the 5th ctf player just spawning to cess the FC, so very true.

5v5 is very different to 4v4, that's true but c9 already have a core and their 5th is czm, so yey. Then again on the other end of the spectrum you have 32nd with a core of 4 + vertex, either way I would predict to see both teams in the final.
