EYE challenge confirmed! (54 comments)

Over the past weekend the so called 'EYE Challenge' polls were closed. The top 4 players from both polls have confirmed their participation and so they will play[EYE] (the current EC-VI and GNR-2 champions) in a best of 3 series next Sunday. Only ProZaC is still a question mark, but this will be cleared up as soon as possible. But for now, the line-ups are known!

The action will begin at 19.30 CET on Sunday the 2nd. The non-Eurocup team will kick off against clan EYE, followed by the Eurocup 'Allstars' team. Shoutcasting has been confirmed by the guys from TSN. GTV should be here as well! Make sure you visit the irc-channel #esr-eye at QuakeNet on Sunday!

Couldnt agree more... I think people just voted for their favourite players instead of voting for the best TDM-players... Personally, beyond Cooller i dont see Mikes as top 10 in Online TDM(ping does matter) and i would much rather see some other top-profile playing.

Haha, many players in both these teams are more or less inactive, and communication will be retarded back to keyboard only due to the mix o countries..
This will be a public spanking, but hey, I guess that's what EYE is looking for.

cooller is damn good..him and Unkind just won a big 2v2 tournament "asus open 2v2" where all russian champions participated..they kicked a shit out of everybody and won the superfinal game with smthg like 70:30 score..just like on WCG2002.still some ppl think he's a dueller only and sux at tdm..I dont know who the hell is Zyz,but he gotta be just as good as Prozac or Gopher to replace Cooller with him

zyz won eurocup more than once. wutai played c58 several times the past season(s) and i can't say that they impressed me much in tdm. i mean if you lose to me...

What about an experimented coach for those teams ? coaching is a very important task, several players are dedicated to this and it does often the difference. A good coach would really help such improvised teams, avoiding FFA.

EYE will be playing with a coach and lanned, won't they ?
