Me and some friends always use it as an excuse to have an early fireworks display, which roughly translates to a bunch of blokes buying a crapload of fireworks and breaking every single rule of the fireworks code by shooting/throwing them at each other.

I got 3 burnmarks on my hand, witnessed a catherine wheel exploding right next to my friends face and we got chased off some land.

Went as Two-Face, my two roommates as the Joker and the Penguin, another friend as catwoman. Even had a "captured" doll dressed as batman in a corner.

sure but we were the hosts, and I maintain going as Batman villains was a good call. Plus he did a good job with his costume, probably better than most.

The people who went as the joker probably thought they were being really creative by taking a break from being the crow which they've been doing for the last 10+ years.

Reminded me of Pascow from Pet Sematary.

This film scared the shit out of me as a kid, and Pascow was responsible for at least half of it. Brrr, I still get a cold shiver thinking about that film. Its so fucked up.

originally it was supposed to be some form of harry goldfarb but then everyone went a bit mental with the blood haha. i can see what you mean about pascow tho. pretty decent outfit considering i only paid for the fake contacts :)
