I didn't do the sixth part of "db i dead" for this, although it's very important.

Here are my estimates of the maps for the 1v1 map pool.

SkyBreak - 8 Bioplant - 4 Kasbah - 5 Monilith - 3 Overgrowth - 3 Amberfall - 4 Raya - 6

Instead of Monolith and Overgrowth, you need to put the Scrubber (7-8) and Fusion Falls (7) maps. The Perilous map should be resized to a smaller size and returned to 1x1 instead of Amberfall.

My fix for the dueling version of Perilous (free exclusive). The old version is suitable for other game modes.

You know that there are many parameters in the game, about 200. We are constantly discussing them here and there. Gameplay, netcode, different settings, HUDs, colors

By correcting one and making it correct, we forget about other parameters and change them in the wrong direction.

We practically (about 70%) had no problem with incorrect maps in QL. And everyone had already forgotten that in general everything was great with the maps in QL.

With the advent of Diabotical, we had new map makers who didn't play QL but played other shooters.

And you know what?

They made a bunch of bad maps. This new disease to do 2x floor low maps, like maps in DOOM 1 and 2. Flat maps with a desire to a maze.

Two of these maps won the competition. Amberfall and Overgrowth.
And my head was torn apart. ...... Both are low and have 2 floors.

I created a corresponding topic on reddit 2 months ago, but naturally no one read it. Because who am I? I have karma at -5. Who will listen to such a toxic player?

The current list of frankly crappy maps:

In fact, you yourself can define a crappy map by counting the number of floors or by eye-measuring the height of these maps.

Examples of good and bad maps . For those who are dumb (for you).

And I don't want to see such poor 1x1 games on such poor maps on streams.

The disease turned out to be contagious, it spreads like a coronavirus. New mapmakers are pleased with themselves and admire themselves in the mirror every day. They start to imitate the winners and make the same 2-floor low maps from DOOM 1 (1978 release date).

As a result we have an map editor that is used for what?
In order to destroy the gameplay of the game!

Many people ask to fix the damage of weapons, different speeds, time limits, number of teammates, sound radius, number of ammo. enter crouchslide. amount of health, adjust armor ratios and values. the frequency of armor spawn. The most popular thing I've heard is to strengthen the rocket and rail.

There are quite a few such messages on reddit. I AM SURE EVERYONE WOULD CHANGE SOMETHING OF THIS TO ITS DESIRE. That is exactly YOU are reading this and YOU would change something.

But personally 2gd will not introduce mutators into the custom game(shitty pickups). Even if we assume that it happens. You still won't be able to play enough with such mutators, because there is no tournament system and no one will know about your desire to play. you cannot gather people for such a game. you won't be able to stream it.

Do you know how much time it takes to implement mutators and a tournament system? 1 week maximum and 1 person.

Instead, a bunch of unnecessary reddit posts. fix this or that. here and there.

The word RATIONALITY is unknown to him.

Only by setting a wider rating range. But games of this type are complete shit.

By the way, the tournament system won 2 votes. One is in my VK group (86%), the other is on reddit (52%), and this is despite the fact that SMM was cheated on reddit. with dislikes and likes.

And if you read the comments, it becomes obvious that those who voted against simply did not understand the essence of the tournament system. Thus, I read all the comments and came to the conclusion that the tournament system won 100% of the votes.

By the way, 2gd promised a tournament system and made pickups. He just lied to us.

You all know that i'm smart veteran playing from 2003. I have a lot of knowledge about game aspects. I also can prove my statements with practical and mathmeatical examples.

If you remember when QC becoming a pure shit, from patch to patch. I created a lot of post with godlike suggestions, and everyone has liked it.

So, my godlike suggestions, a lot more progressive than all that kind of noobs can suggest. My suggestions even more progressive than 2gds. You can just search my threads over ESR on QC forum and Diabotical forum.

I also can detect SMM. As you remeber i have detect a lot of SMM guys on Quake Champions social media. They ban me and other players with good suggestions.

AND NOW AGAIN ! That SMM shit on Reddit forum . 2GD paying to SMM agents and they are manipulate with likes\dislikes. They even manipulate with POLLs. They have a lot of accounts may be THOUSANDS, and they can easy kill your karma and you will be banned.

Their main trick

So they just shift the blame from themselves to players.

This is another HUGE MISTAKE from 2gd to hire that dumbs, who has no clue is this good suggestion or not.

Some time ago people on reddit wondered how to fix the queue time in the game.

I tried to explain the same thing in different ways. Graphically and verbally.

I depicted the clearest explanation graphically. But the frusrtswerg moderator deleted it. In his opinion, it is more important to follow formal rules than to really fix the problem of queues.

In QuakeLive, the problem is when you control the map for the first part of the match and then time runs out.

In other words.

QuakeLive: Player # 1 has 6 minutes to control the level. Player # 2 has 4 minutes to control the level. 6 > 4

Diabotical: Player # 1 has 6 minutes to control the level. Player # 2 has 6 minutes to control the level. 6 = 6

P.S. It doesn't matter who plays defensively. Viewers love long games. =)

handicap option

An old idea.

Of course it should be NON RATED games

Basic idea is to have a checkbox option over FIND MATCH button (handicap checkbox) wich can reduce queue times. If you are strong player your stack cap will be decreased.

Developers just need to check average statistics ELO = DMG and DMG received. and compare this to the other ELO's. May be it's should not working in all gamemodes. May be it need some test in SHAFT ARENA or 1v1 aim arena before it will be implemented in serious gamemodes. May be we need "HANDICAP AIM ARENA" and "AIM ARENA" separatedly, coz all 4 players in 2v2 should be agree with that.

As a result it's not precisious, but it's something and you can correct handicap coefficients in future.

Now you can play with teammate during tournament.

You can choose mappool, ELO RANGE, Round robin or Olympic system, bo1 bo2 bo3, higher bracket (and lower bracket), fully automated system without admins.

Do you remember how I proposed an in-game tournament system?

Now, for example, agent jkezoor is looking for 1x1 games for 5-12 minutes, and there 1-3 opponents are the same dazator, strongest, arseny. Twitch viewers complain about long search times.

This is despite the fact that there are about 20 opponents on the leaderboard for agent jkezoor.

Take TDM modes, this tournament system can replace "pickups" in discord.

Thus, on the one hand, 2gd invites streamers to promote the game, and on the other hand, it scares away viewers from the game with a long search time. And not only streamers but also players.

Here is his biggest mistakes. Just look at it.

-Classic FFA mode(brawl). He included it to the game. This is absolutely broken shit. He think that jumpiung without weapons, and spawnfest is fun. And this is become more worse when pplayer playing this shit instead of playing TDM, which one he wants to make the main trend in this game.

-I don't understand why 125/100 in warmup mode? In previous patches it was 200/100. And now it's closer to SPAWNFEST. Why he loves spawnfest?

May be he want's to say "hey guys! spawning is cool! die faster and spawn and jump after that during 10 seconds until you meet first enemy on map!"

-LG nerf to 6. shorter beam. And explanation is NOOBS THINKS THAT ROCKET SHOULD COUNTER LG.

2GD can't explain to them that COUNTER TO LG IS LG and strafes.

This is amazing that they think that must be RG=RL=LG. This bullshit will never happen. because i can stay on long distance always as i want with RG and you OP rocket will never toch me. So you can balance your rocket as much as you want, dickheads.

But 2GD fussing and shaking when reading noobs threads. And with a trembling hand changes parameters back and forth , back and forth and again and again like a pussy....he reminds me SyncError

-Netcode. should be client side. In both variants server\client HIGH pingers will be worse than low-pingers. But client side more comfortable for HIGH PINGERS, coz of " if you hit then you hit. " thats it.

Walls nonsense vs. HIT nonsense?

I prefer walls nonsense, coz *HIT* nonsense in favor of LOW PINGER, but LOW PINGER FEELS HIMSELF ALREADY BETTER with his low ping(server detects his hits first)

- Still no Artificial pings. When your ping lower, client-side delaying packets artificially. and now your pings equal and no problems with choosing server and no influence on ELO GLICKO rating. For duels only, but may be for 2v2 too.

-Duels with 150 armor limit, only 2 armors, broken(large, small, bad scheme, 2 floors) maps. I'm shocked that he is not controll the process of creating maps. He has 2300 ELO in QL duel, but he has no own vision how duel maps should look. Which is kinda amazing for such elo.

-Still no tournament system inside the game.

OK, duel 1x1 approved. I'm confusing because of my bad english and not see all\full streams.

But the irony that, anyway we need some compensations . That system helps to gather players TDM or 1x1 better then MM queue. Imagine we have not "MM queue search", but if we have tournament system inside the game, we can gather players anyway in any date in any time.

And all that tricks with reducing queue times ... this is just a 30% of 2GD can do.

This system below is just a CHECK AND MATE to "big queue times"

P.S. we need 200/100 in warmup mode, 100 hp is not enought against 2-3 enemies at once. I hate to spawn too often and jumping 10 seconds every time after spawn to my 1st enemy.

Since there will be no Diabotical duel tournaments. I think we need some compensation.

Custom online tournaments LIST within the game. Should be in main menu as advertisement.

Why inside the game?

+ No need to check internet sites. One platform and it is visible to everyone. As a result, it is easier to gather people.
+ In-game tournament bracket.
+ Everything is automated. Time between games. Time to warm up. The system kicks latecomers.
+ No admins needed.
+ Tournament results are saved and easily exported to html format.
+ Tournament conditions are set by the creator. and they can be read before joining the tournament. ELO Glicko range option. Gamemode option. Timelimit option and so on .... Map pool .. Date. Maximum players, minimum players.


+ Internet problems? - you out
+ You coming too late? - defeat
+ We can see the nickname of the tournament creator
+ Tournament creator can't ban player's for any reasons. NO ADMINS NEEDED. !!!
+ For TDM tournaments should be more options.

Hello James!

You ignored my letter about to show me diabotical pre alpha, and this is your 1st mistake, don't make 2nd! Yes, they are PRO players, but many of them just idiots in mode-making and giving good feedback. They are not crative!

If you want to impress 35 years old quakers you need to make good duel mode with innovations. I'm not talking about 13 yo kids, they have their CA duel mode from you already.

Not enought If you just show us QL 1x1 with all shit like Imba spawns, wrong maps (hectik,aerowalk,dm6, you know why that maps wrong right? ;) of course you not ), 2 armors and etc...You need something more.

So there some ideas for you to think and FINISH. Don't know what you prepare for 1x1 games, you so silent btw.

1- 200/200 all weapons at 1st game players-spawn.(Fixes unbalanced spawns a bit)

2- 2-3 schemes spawn chemes(during all game) for armors and MH and weapons. example RA on MH and MH on RA. YA on RA and RA on YA etc. Same with weapons(may be). (Idea comes from promode(q3) forum)

3- Instead of selectable spawns, which i suggest earlier, now i suggest: during game you can choose spawn point anywhere you want, just by pressing key, when you alive. (fixes spawnrape a bit). 1-N spawn points. You need to stay at exact place for setup point. They will spawn at major items by killing themself, why not for -1 frag ?...You need to think abou it, James.

4- Invisibility like in q3, but with 3 seconds duration and fullinvis(you can hit invisible enemy and enemy can hit you). (it really helps with small and simple maps when nowhere to hide from spawn rape ). May be like ability(available for both players every 2 minutes).

5- May be crouch slide ) for big maps. Somehow, it just cool. But for big maps only, like MOlten Falls.
I also like ranger sphere. It really helps and tactical. But no to different abilities like in QC! (disbalanced as fk).

Me and Sponge has a lot of ideas about how to simplify Quake gameplay for NOOBS and at the same time make game looks like casino with disbalanced champions, which are will never be balanced. But we have implement everything from it and Quake fans not even detect it...

Imagine that we has moved out Syncerror. And now he can only make some maps for QC.

And Zero4 has access to all config files. He can change hitboxes, weapons, heroes, gamemodes, etc. Also he can tell to SyncError where to place spawns and armors on map, how much and etc. So the last decision from Zero4, not from SyncError.

Is Zero4 will be better than Adam Pyle as Quake gameplay designer? Vote plz

I read it many times in comments from SMM guys. They think that if community will be more positive, then more newcomers will stay here, in Quake Community.

But i can't understand

If i will be more positive, will it change QC?
If i will be relaxed, will it change QC?

So, why i should be more positive? Because i want more players for Quake Champions? No i'm not...until Quke Champions becomes real Quake.

It means, if you want to destroy Quake Champions you should be more agressive. Every newcomer should be scared of ESR community on this site and others. It will minimize Quake Champions community.

Sync working very long since .... He makes sometimes good maps as designer.... But he is an idiot coz of. 90% maps, schematically wrong. Also he announced a war to Quake pro players, by idiotic mappools, idiotic random brackets, idiotic patch changes like 0.98 he changed to 0.9800001 etc.

After that we must spam their e-mail.

Nico supports for free Quake Live? So many years?

But, he is fucking noob. I listened his conversation with Cooller in 2015 about pings( Nico restricts sever, which both players can play, because this server not in rules list). Cooller won him easily in conversation, because of rule "tournament orgs can change rule on the fly". so Nico can approve that server, which not in rules list.

Cooller said him about this 5-6 times. And he not understood
this simple argument. He is absolutely dumb.

And now he will post this shit QC tournaments everywhere, instead of ESL league.

As for me, i solved this puzzle 1.5 years ago. They releases patches just to simulate changes and take your attention again and again.

And when i read comment's like this

I ask myself. If i'm Tim\Sync and i know that ESR users not accepting "empty" patches. And everyone laugh at me again and again.
Then why i posting again and again patchnotes on ESR?

Is it teasing or disrespect demonstration?

Because no matter what (pro) players say about the necessary changes. They not implement anything weighty in their patches.

Matchmaking will become even more bad

In new patch they will take off ELO points from winner. And give them to loser.


It means, now ELO range 0 -2900(rapha).
In new patch will be 0-2600 or even 0-2400(rapha). Dont know how much.

As result matchmaking will search +-600 ELO or even +-800 ELO. For example if you 800 ELO(your elo will be 1100 or similar), you will play with 1500 or 1400. But in game man with 1500\1400(real skill) will looks like 1200(scoreboard), but will play like 1500\1400.

It means super shit matchmaking.

Same problem, not enought players in QC. But they want now to remove matchmaking by this shit.

They create groups in our social networks. They bans those who writes truth about Quake Champions. About engine and gameplay problems.

They somehow receive small money from ID or from Saber.

They appoint administrators of groups of employees from Saber.

They very often write laudatory responses about game to new players. Engine is perfect. Netcode is better than in GTA V =)

I'm bothered to see as they disturb to game development and lies to newcomers.

Also Saber has small group of fake accs(or not fake). And that accs do likes every post. And makes fake votes on polls.

What kind of FFA is better?

-All weapons(except tribolt) and 250 / 250 stack for all champions(ye i know dif hitboxes)

-No weapons and 100/0 stack (as it now)

I ask because, i can't understand.

WHY I NEED 9+ SECONDS OF JUMPS, AFTER MY SPAWN TO GET A WEAPON? in such random game, while 2 players hits me at the same time.

In 60-70% i can get weapon after spawn in 9 secs.

But i need more weapons depends on situation. Ye?

SO, why i need 100/0 stack while 2 players hits me at the same time? And why i need 30 seconds to pick up 2-3 weapons, while my average lifetime 15 seconds?

Is ALL admins of QuakeLive servers just idiots?

How long we need to wait a proper FFA mode? Until next Quake in 2040?

In his stream 125 he said, that with this new patch QC becomes less casual and closer to QL, because less speed, less accel, ID removed "no strafe jump" technique for noobs. Those who not understand it on reddit forum, can make something horrible with themselves.

Well, but we all know that every pro: Cooller, Cypher, Base, Agent, Rapha said that there is no item control in QC. Just MH and RA. Also you can't be 100+ with only green armors. No yellow armors. 30 sec or 15 for noobs. Every weapon OP(even MG and NG).

So...Is Zoot Tim's whore? May be ID asked him to said on his stream something good about game? otherwise they don't approve his person as commentator on QuakeCon?

If Zoot not whore, then he is an idiot who don't know QL, right?

Maybe you believe more to him than to our pro players?

But you smart, and you have bought a whole game in Steam with all Champions. Alright, noob! There are many players who has not bought whole game , and for those players Tim will continue to make unbalanced patches.

Forever unbalanced game! You all must play imba Champions which you don't like! Look at proplayers pick's from patch to patch (all time imba champions). Raisy and Cypher? Raisy - Clutch and Sorlag, Cypher with Slash! gg wp Cypher!

And they can't stop to sell Champions one by one. That's the problem!

In QC we lost "item control" by half. But i only see whine about bugs, netcode, guns, champions and other superficially stuff.

Here is a task, you need to save item control.

So, you need to write exact and detailed route until item control will be saved fully.

Legend: MG, RL, LG, PG.... GA,...jumppad.... etc

Current situation: you killed enemy
MH 41 RA 17 LY(low yellow) 21 HY(high yellow) !(ready)

Some thoughts about blood splatter.
Sometimes we kill with fast mouse flick, for example from railgun. Faster flick-> faster blood splatter in the same direction of mouse move.

If headshot->only head explosion. If torso->all enemy body

I think our frags could be more stylish and dynamic.

I like for example how looks this type of explosion 0:10-0:20 (10 seconds). Blood is bright, speed is good, trajectory is close to perfect, any direction is possible in game

Imagine how you making headshot in back of enemy head, the splatters will be in the same direction as his eyes looks, if there is no fast mouse flick from you.

Here is example from me(railgun). Faster mouse->more speed.

So, the idea is to make modern bot, which can strafe like human, jump like human, calculate items like human, and you can choose his accuracy(like in cpma bots)

CPMA bots problem- bad dodge, bad item calculation, he repeats his movements on map, he don't know respawn and can't rape you.

Ideally no one can detect it's bot or human

We can get infinite humans in QC.

Monopoly?... actually yes..but you can't control all (4)devices, there are always time windows + good positions(archs, angles) wich helps you to intercept enemy map control. It's a part of game, you need to calculate right moments(when you calculateing - you playing, like when you aiming - you playing..etc)

As example LostWorld, where you eat far yellow+shards until 125 150.
Or Campgrounds, where again, you eat yelow +shards
Or BloodRun, where you can eat shards + high yellow.

"this is shooter...let me shoot..i wanna only to shoot...blah blah blah"

She random, because you can't predict enemy pos with high precision without major items. QL random too, but you can eliminate randomness by half if you know timings and enemy pos.

For my opinion, major items brings more gameplay situations and tactics. QL for now more hardcore than QC ( aim+control against aim+little control). QC something like only a part of QL. But if gamedevs make control+aim+champions then QC>QL.

As a conclusion, you just not a quaker, something like

mutated counterstriker

Anyway, welcome! My hope about 10000 settings in Custom Game(armor settings, chempions settings, speed settings, etc), so everyone can enjoy the game and find something new and interesting gameplay.

1. Someone wrote already here that ID in future will add minimap on screen(like in CS). But still there is no minimap.
And during QuakeCon i saw not enough cameras positions for common locations.
Also i suggest to add 3rd person of view ability when you spectate.
Also, will be nice for spectator, if "common view" cameras can concentrate on some player(can change her angle of view) (player body on center of viewer monitor, always) and camera automatically switches to next camera if player behind the wall.
Will be nice if monitor space can show 4 players at once(multipov), or minimap+player(3rd person of view or 1st or autocamera of common view)
So, spectator can resize minimap(to fullscreen or to 1/4 of screen ..etc) like in CS, can change her transparency.

Minimap shows items, players, their view angles, may be their abilities and flying ammo's, hp etc.

All i mentioned now, already realized in some games. But also i think about Quake movies, where we have "smart camera" from moviemaker. So, if ID can create automated "smart camera" algorithms, we can get auto moviemaker and watch games like films (slow mo, auto replays of some hot moments during game or pause, etc).

2. I think CA very simple for newcomers. And very 1st candidate for LAN tournaments as main mode. Not sure about CTF, because it's like Sacrifice and more difficult for first Acquaintance. I dont know about what team game mode more popular were in QL. I think CA, because it's more like CS ;) But as old q3 player i prefer CTF or Sacrifice for spectating.

I saw streams of pro players. Cooller, Agent, Rapha, Cypher, Toxjc. Everyone of them said the same things about this new duel mode, no one like him.

It's interesting to see, are they passive people who eat everything for money?

For example i read some articles from Chess history, there are were many conflict situations when pro players protested against rules.

Also Cypher said on stream that NAVI reviled CS:GO at the begining.

I hear that that new champions coming soon

I think that good choice is orb and bones

Orb can spawn his twin(illusion), somehow. Twins can strafe a little to simulate movement and shots, but shots cant make damage. Like you start recording a strafe movement ot shot.

Bones can attach to the wall for 3-5 sec on any surface for suprising your enemy.

In this thread I will try to gather all my thoughts. It will be one big picture.
This post for people who 18+ otherwise many moments to you will be not clear.

Why you need to read such long post? Because i'm very confident in my suggestions and experience.
I consider all interests and all factors. I can be mistaken only in force of experts in marketing and advertising influence :\

IF YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING, JUST ASK ME.(trolls, kids, idiots will be detected)

We faced big problems - interests of 3 groups.
1 - Old players community
2 - New players community
3 - Id Software

Group 1 vs Group 3.

Old players want competitive, difficult and serious esport game. For now QC does not correspond to expectations.

Id Software wants more money and simplifies QC for group 2.

Group 2 vs Group 1

Old players want competitive, difficult and serious esport game.

Newcomers want game like Counter Strike, Dota.

Group 3 vs Group 2

Id wants more money, but newcomers will not pay for QC, because simplified QC still too difficult for newcomers.

For those who has missed my thought, once again:
QC does not meet requirements of groups 1 and 2.

QC more simple, like 1/2 of QL. But in the same time QC more difficult for group 2, like 3 x CounterStrike.

In my head something like this when i think about "game DIFFICULTY" (from my experience):
All factors are approximate ;) and they comes from my feelings and intuition.

QL = 6*CS = 2*QC = 12*DOTA = 0.08*Chess

Now, about QuakeLive gametypes:

Duel= 2*TDM = 3*CTF = 6*CA = 20*Instagib

About CS and QL duel:

Duel = 6*CS


I belong to group 1 (Old community). And in my head i can see some priority according to "3 groups" (from most to less). "Group priority" means: what group is more important, whose interests are most important. It means, the group standing more low, can have satisfaction, only if group standing on one step above has satisfaction.

3 Id Software (Most important) 1st place
2 New players (Also most important) 2nd place
1 Old players (Less important) 3rd place.

Old players (group 1) are less important, because of 500 players online (on servers). Who cares about them?, they can't bring a lot of money.

New players (group 2) are more important, they has a lot of money. For example 100 000 online players in Counter Strike and 500 players in QL.

Id Software (group 3) are most important. Because if they has qualified personnel and a lot of money, they can satisfy new players.

Again, in my head: (strong personnel + money) can satisfy new players by good game. It will bring a much more money for ID Software. And only after that old players(group 1) will receive more players in their professional gametypes(duel tdm, etc).

So, old players less important...., but they has one trump! They have a huge experience! It means, old players like qualified personnel for ID :)

Ok, old players helps ID Software to satisfy new players. But is there any guarantee for old players? I mean, if ID will deceive old players? And old players will not receive the necessary game modes?

Tim Willits in interview said that "there is no problem, we can include old gametypes in QC".

For now situation looks like there are some non-paper agreements.
Id gives simple gametypes for new players, new players gives to ID their money.
ID gives perfect professional gametypes for old players, old players gives to ID some help + little amount of money.


As i mentioned above, current QC gametypes not enough simple for new players. I mean, game not ready for new players. In current state TDM not ready for new players. I can't believe that current TDM(Duel) will have great success.

-Because Blizzard spend a lot of money for OverWatch advertisement, more than ID.
-Not enough amount of tutorials for new players. Not enough info about game rules.
-Not enough money for tournaments.

And in my opinion, TDM must be closer to CS or OverWatch. For now its more close to Quake. And very, VERY far from CS or OverWatch.

My assumption (only mine), that TDM should be completely altered for new players. And it means, that future QC community must be divided by two groups.

1. Hardcore-professional gametypes for small amount of old players (TDM and Duel gametypes)
2. Simple gametypes for a huge amount of new players. (TDM and Duel gametypes)

As i said, TDM for new players must be much closer to CS or OverWatch. As a result old Quake players should not play these simple gametypes, because of huge difference in gameplay, rules, maps(!!). Old players should barf when they see simple gametypes. How close to CS\OverWatch simple gametypes should be? I think gameplay should be 70-80% like CS\OW. Players from CS\OW should feel that QC their improved version of CS\OW.

Yes, may be it's too late for such changes ;) But, i will be very happy if i'm wrong and current TDM\Duel will have great success.


Now, about hardcore-professional gametypes.

I'm already wrote a lot about simplifications. Now shortly, what i want (and many old\pro players too). It looks like instruction, you can't break it ;).

Once again, you can't avoid this instruction! If you change something else, you can crush gameplay TOTALLY! If you can't understand something, just ask me.

About DUEL

-Full copy of QL duel + Champions + champions abilities + Selectable spawns.

Now about champions balance.

Champions must differ from each other only by appearance and abilities. It means the same hitboxes for all, same strafe speed(320 units max+same accel) for all, and very small difference in strafe-jumps. No hp\armor limits, only 200\200 max (like in QL) for all champions, 125\0 on spawn for every champion.

After that it is necessary to balance ONLY champions abilities. We can balance abilities after some period of time, during beta, or later, or somehow.

About selectable spawns.

All pro players not agree with random spawns in QL. "lucky spawn" "he win because of lucky spawn".

You can select spawn after your death, by clicking on a picture (3-4 points on a choice).

About TDM

Same changes as in DUEL (see above).


Ok, we have 2 groups of gametypes.
1. Hardcore-professional gametypes for small amount of old players (TDM and Duel gametypes)
2. Simple gametypes for a huge amount of new players. (TDM and Duel gametypes)

I believe that some part from huge amount of new players will come to Hardcore-professional gametypes somehow. And we must have some tricky system which entices new players in hardcore-professional gametypes. May be any special champion skins \ vanity, weapon models, special words in main menu, achievements, pictures, icons.

Other mini suggestions from me.

-In games like Batman AA,AO,AK and Castlevania you can see some unavailable HARDCORE gametype in main menu. This gametype becomes available after you finished main story. So i think we can make the same in QC. You can play only if you finished tutorial course, or you have reached some level(XP). For example you can play hardcore-professional gametypes only if you reach some XP level in simple gametypes.

-Everyone knows that "more gametypes = less players in each gametype". I suggest 3 gametypes for new players and 3 gametypes for old players. Other mini-gametypes like instagib and EyeToEye must be like "Training halls"(with ELO) in main menu of the game.

-ELO everywhere, you know =). Matchmaking must be artful(tricky) system which considers quantity of players online, ELO, pings. Matchmaking system must be adaptable to current amount of players, she must suggest to player different options. She must help him with different hints. There is one small part of hint system we can see in many games while level is loading. But matchmaking must be more smarter than these hints. In more details read here

-Artificial ping. Artificial ping increases total amount of players. When your opponent has lower ping than you, his ping automatically becomes higher. In more details read here

So this is the first time when Tim said a word "ELO" !
And as i understand he not sure about total amount of players in duel mode. And if not enought players then ELO matchmaking will not work.

I can see some problems with ELO

1. What if your ELO too high (your ELO 1600+). And you can't use automated matchmaking, because of not enough players in your ELO class.

2. You can't find enough players because your region far from big city and you has big ping and thats why you can't use automated matchmaking.


1. Players can create tournaments (and every player can see tournament list in main menu.) with their locations and ELO range: Frankfurt Today at 10 PM, elo 1600-1800, round robin, 6 players needed, prize=my rocket launcher, or champion, 500 platinum etc.

Also players can add each other to friend list, but its already implemented.

2. We can slightly increase amount of players in our community by (artificial )ping increasing.

If you has 30 ping on your server(town country), then you can increase your ping up to 100 for playing with players who has high pings on your server(players who lives in other towns, countries). Thus, by increasing your ping, you just invite other players(from other servers) to play with you on equal pings. Thus 2 quake communities from diffrent towns(countries) becomes one big community.

Also, matchmaking(player search) must be semi automated. If system can't find player for a 2 minutes, she offer to increase ELO search range and to enable PING increasion. Or she must show your potencial opponents, and mention you about "if you increase your ping, you can play with them on equal pings".

Also every duel game can be with some prizes, like platinum. "if you can play with me on equal pings, i give you 2 platinum points". So something like bets(inside same ELO class).

If you want to make player happy there is only one option - make ELO built in game, 50% win

Player1: (Number of champions)*(Number of duel maps) = Number of ELO's

That's how you can make valid(true) matchmaking.

Also, ID can see what champion has better ELO, what champion has worse ELO and to balance them.
This is mathematically correct.

Later i will try to write the table (without ELO analyze) about HPlimit,ArmorLimit,SpeedLimit,StrafeLimit,HitBoxLimit,AbilityLimit for every champion.

Also i suggest selectable spawns in duels. Unbalanced spawns still exists in Q3,QL,QC haha.

And yes, i'm agree with RG 80 hp. We reduced it in QL and RG is still most powerfull weapon, haha. Btw "weapons balance" is a myth, i mean no need to use word "balance" for weapons.

And word "matchmaking" has different characteristics and every man keep in mind different characteristics in his head about "matchmaking". I ask to use "search opponent by ELO rating" instead of "matchmaking" =)

And throw out K/D indicator from Quake - this is a piece of .....

Tim Willits expected players reaction on QC innovations. In his interview he say words such as "this is still quake". He choose special words for players, he softens our perception of new things. Of course you can say "this is still quake" if your innovations really useful. Objectively, many skins,models, shaders are useful, many players love it. And if you disagree, then you must think about our community size and amount of players.

But can you say "this is still quake" when there are so huge simplifications?
Is eunuch a normal man? Oh-oh, girls, yes he is eunuch, but he is still normal man, make him your husband!

This is why i think we need to change the term "game simplification" to term "game castration"

Many of us are xenophobes. By the way to be xenophobe is very bad. Xenophobes spilt a lot of blood in human history and broke human evolution. And this stone i throw to our community. QC lessons

Why ppl love Counter Strike?

Because of films, and also every man must serve in army. CS perceived naturally
as self-evident. All rules about CS well known from films.

Why ppl away from Quake?

Fantastic, unnatural. Strange rules, unknown rules. Strafe Jumping? WTF?

Of course there are many fantastic films, but the life reality tells us that statistically more ppl love non-fantastic films.

There are another unnatural games like chess. It's not like CS and not like Quake. Chess is something 3rd kind of game. Other breed of games life.

Chess has been popular in newspapers and tv many years ago. Governments want to teach their ppl to think. If ppl became smarter, then, they can build more hi-end weapons, like nuclear rockets and etc..

In this article, i tell that Chess is more difficult than Quake. How to proof that? If Cooller became PRO (2600+ ELO) in 2-3 years or something like this and if Magnus Carlsen became pro (2600+ ELO) in 7 years, then 7>3 and chess is more difficult.

So, i assume that chess is more difficult and unnatural like quake. May be chess is more unnatural: fucking squares, they white and black, fucking pieces.. what is that? Two big men 50 years old, moving small pieces on the board? Who can love it?

So, if we exclude media influence about chess on ppl. How this site can accumulate 22 000 -66 000 duelists? In Quake we has only about 100-200 every day.

Lets go on site

First that i can see:

1. ELO ratings
2. Lessons (rules, theory, video, replays)
3. Training apparatus for improvement of skills (solving problems with timelimit aka tactics, vision trainer)
4. You can buy your personal teacher.
5. You can analyze your game with computer engines (Stockfish (3400+ ELO), Hoodiny (3200+), Komodo (3400+) )
6. I can see a link Game is difficult, but kids can play !!!!
7. Winrate stat! This is TRUE stat! Not bullshit!(60% my RG? and 60% Rapha? is it means we has equal aim? haha!!! NO!!!! hahahah he has 60% on more difficult opponent than my!!!)

Look at their menu! I recommend you to register on to feel the power of their system!

Ok, now we must ask ourselves: what we have in QC from system?(menu?, lessons? ELO?). 66 000 ppl playing most difficult game in the world without game simplifications!!!!

I think they simply dont let low skill player to play with pro and gives a lot of help to newcomers! SYSTEM GIVES A LOT OF DIFFERENT HELP, BUT NOT PRO PLAYERS (but pro too =) )

So in QL we had some amount of lessons (rocketjumps, tricks) and this is right direction for making newcomers feel better. But i think it was bad lessons! And it was bad form of learning! Small amount of lessons! Bad teacher!!!!! BAd!!!! And we must suggest to ID a better kind of lessons and "training apparatus for improvement of skills" they must BUILT IN in QC.

-strafe trainer
-timer trainer 12+25=37, 45+30=15
-video with zero4(he teach how to jump)

and etc etc etc

Suggest your lessons, training programs, techniques. And ID will built in all of this in QC, if they not idiots.

In that duel mode besides armor system, spawn system has been cut out (simplification). Also, this unusual frag limit and spawn limit makes gameplay more random (random win). Unlucky spawn and you lost your main (for this match) champion. You can easy lost or make your first frag, which now always first. And you can't pick the same champion twice.

Anyway, i'm not against this duel mode, he's good for newcomers as TDM in beta.

Besides this simplifications (big as half of the planet, without exaggeration) we have: not balanced champions, there are no many QL settings, there is no Grenade Launcher (GL is pro gun). We dont know anything about 1x1 maps, they can be very awful. Now if you want to make 1x1 map, you need to know many gameplay aspects. Also current maps has many textures and polygons, and it is more difficult to create them and to fix.

Somewhere here on esr there is one as..le who offer hooney mode(when after each frag game resets). So current 1x1 mode is a modification of this hooneymode. Oh god.. i want to tear off his hands. I want to implement all abilities to devs right in their office.

As for me, if i can't see at least QL 1x1 copy with built in ELO ratings, i will not download this game. If it will be classic 1x1 but without ELO, i also will not download a game. Competitive game without ELO is not a game. I do not want to rape low skill players, and i do not want to be raped much more ( my cost 50% of win games from total, with players which skills equal to my ).

For now, there are no something serious and hardcore(except shooting), something that was adjusted in right way.
I want something difficult for my brain, i want to see many different tactics, i want to see how pro players develop and implement this tactics in game. I want to see a game, which King of the shooters, and deservedly (because of difficulty), but not because some tricky marketing-man, like skilled pedophile has seduced schoolboys by beautiful wrapper. I want to see how pro players became respected everywhere.
And those pro who pensioners, writes their books "how to play quake, 1000 secrets, tactics".

I offered in 1x1 ELO, selectable spawns, ability to increase enemy ping if his lower than mine, fixed loadouts. Big practical reasons for this, with proofs.

Also i want to write many bad words.

But i will wait for next 6 months. And if i will not see any minimal positive changes (built in ELO, fixed 1x1, etc..), i delete all info about QC from all places i can, and will destroy game everywhere i can until her death.

3 features vs 10 features

This post about how PRO player differs from Mediocre player.

Game is hard when your opponent is god. Players love to win.

EXAMPLE: in QL gameplay there are 10 abstract features: a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,e,j . And pro player uses all 10(due to his skills). But newcomer can use only a,b,c(due to his skills).

And ID make in QC only a,b,c(instead of 10 in QL) for newcomers, this is simplifications, they cutof 7 features. Instead of simplifications, they need to simplify opponents(by using ELO rating).

So ID can complicate(make harder) QC as many as they can, becaouse ELO rating helps you. PRO players will use 10 of 10, middle players 5 of 10, newcomers 3 of 10. Everyone will win 50% of games.

For example: In QL for now

TDM became much better and fun with abilities than in QL. FFA too.

Many ppl wrote that game became like Overwatch...

No guys!

Its absolutely Quake!!! and QC much better than QL!!! (except million settings, and some info , but i think ID add it later)

Abilities must be fixed! One setting(config) for all abilities in TDM and another config for Duel. But not disabled! Abilities make game looking fresh, modern, interesting.

My Congratulation, It's time to forget QL =)

Force enemymodel seem a bit stupid when they have abilities, don't you think? I'm all for making them green though.

knowing "what ability" not helps you in such chaos. No time to think about it and planning your game lol.

People need to be able to show off their skins and other character customizations.
No one is gonna buy a skin that no one will see. :D

But you dont know am i using forceenemymodel or not.

If you put that setting in the game, a lot of people will use it, and those people will not see the beautiful skins you paid for. :D That will make you less likely to give id money for skins or other cosmetic customizations. A setting to turn on a sort of outline around the player that you can set the colour of would be nice. Something like this mock-up:

I think the majority of people who care about forcing enemy models will play this game just because it is called Quake.

I think you'll find that the group of people who care about cosmetics is much bigger than that gameplay-focused group you're talking about. That's why every game is now making money out of some sort of microtransaction-based scheme or another.

I don't like it much either, but that's the way it is.

It's not just about selling the game and getting that one-off payment like it used to be. They want to keep selling things to the players of a game for as long as they are playing, by turning the game into a storefront because they realized they have a captive audience who they can always be tempting by dangling shiny things in front of them. :D

I think ppl want more to win( and cheat for win) than make cosmetics.

Thats why in QL players try to choose thin models(easy to hide and avoid shots). Nobody will play sorlag, becouse difficult to hide(tail).

Some model colors will merge with the map background. Not profitable to play with bright colors on dark map => you cosmetics must be dark. But if your enemy has dark cosmetics and you not. You
will often loose. And you will whine.

Quake not a game even (QC), like Sims, and a group of players who will buy cosmetics much smaller than "balance whiners"

In 200x Quake was best 1x1 shooter and we all know why. I can easily explain why Quake > CS. Because duel, control, nice to spec.(in details)

But now, Tim Willits want to shock players from Overwatch, not old quakers.

And overcoming myself, i got some info about Overwatch heroes. And compare to Quake Champions.

I noticed:

That in Overwatch 4 classes:
1 Storm
2 Protection
3 Tank
4 Support

In Quake Champions 1 class.

In Overwatch 24 heroes against 12 in Quake Champions

In Overwatch every hero has about 3-4 abilities against 2 in Quake Champions

In Overwatch every hero has own gun and seeming .More guns than in Quake Champions

It ssems like Overwatch teamplay more structural(classes). One class depends from others etc.

Heroes more creative. And 24 heroes against 12. I saw on stream that one hero flying like bumblebee. (But no flying in QC)

Also i noticed that Tim Willits steal some abilities from Overwatch =(.

From me only one plus to QC - this is graphics. Too much effects in Overwatch, they fuck your eyes.

I'm amazed at what this bald old man does with the franchise.

May be you add your comments and compare this Team games more.

What if ID want to sell champions, but balancing is not a part of their plan?

Noobs start to buy champions, and like in MK Ultimate(sega) they search imba char like Noob Saibot for win? Like cheat searching =)

Why we need ANTI CHEAT if a game is CHEAT by herself?

It system is like provocation to buy more and more.

We know it and we must switch off abilities. So characters for us in QC will be like a plastic toys in market.

As i know BLIZZARD still balancing SC2. =) 8 years.

Do we really believe that such poor company like ID can balance 12+ champions, without any knowledge about gameplay?

Sometimes i think that ATI and NVIDIA pay to ID. And ID must make 99999999999999 polygons per model in map. And no variants for people, they must buy new PC.

So making new game - provocation to buy new NVIDIA INTEL AMD processors.

They just like idiots, add more polygons instead of making true perfect game.

Thats why no true games releases. They even not try to make perfect game.

No one of really necessary cybersport innovations was maded by ID in QC (

Just more polygons, and "new" money system.

From interview with Tim Willits: we need to pickup sand clock for faster regeneration.

From my professional opinion: We need about 50-100-200 tasks in game. Each task gives some regeneration(duel only).

-Air rocket
-Combo(PG+RL , RL+RG etc)
-Hattrick(3-4 frags in a raw)
-Impressive(4 rails)
-2 frags in a row with Machinegun(or ShotGun or 1 from Grenade)

-We know DEFRAG, so you make some difficult(short) tricks on map(by time or just reach some point on map) and it gives you regeneration

-You control perfectly only 2 yellows on ztn for 2 minutes without your death.

-You not take damage from enemy for 2 minutes.

- You fully blind for 20 secs

-You fully deaf for 2 mins

Each task gives you special amount of regeneration.

No need for sand-clock.

Quake Champions: TDM problems

As we known DOTA and CS team games. And if QC will not be team game he will fail. No ppl.. no money.

In every team game i have played on public with random teammates i saw the same problems.

- ppl dont know rules of the game
- ofcourse no coordination between players, they dont know each other(different ELO, newbies, etc)
- very different maps( ex. in starcraft UMS very different rules. Thats why ppl love DOTA ;> )

if you on game forum and there is no ELO up your nickname. Ppl dont know who you are and they dont believe to you. Or for ex. they can ban you, or disput with you. Or talking about who is better in 1x1(cos no ELO).

We need Just make ELO everywhere we can.

Why CA more popular than classic TDM?

In CA there is more ORDER. Order is the key to make TDM better.

- In CA round system and ..... NO RANDOM SPAWNS(10 sec delay before start).
- In CA you has all weapons. No armors.
- CA more simple

You can't control powerups in classic TDM with random PPL. Thats why classic TDM sucks.(cant control your spawns, can't control nothing in game). If you talk smth in VOICE CHAT, teammates starts to hate you. There are no ELO near your nickname and they dont know who you are. Why they need to listen you?

On one side ppl angry cos of newbies dont let you to play normal.

Newbies angry that someone in voice chat gives you commands.

Because no ORDER.

So if in QC will be more ORDER and simple rules, ELO. If ppl noticed about rules before game and etc...May be our community increases by 2% .

This is main part of problems i think.

I cant say about innovations we need in tdm QC, cos i mostly 1x1 player. May be TDM players can say more about it.

May be we need MEDALS near nicknames, or team CAPTAIN by vote?

I think we has another problem for duel players.

In Quake 4 we have Monsoon, Frantic. Absolutely promode style bullshit.


-Very small (gameplay simplification)
-only 3 powerups(gameplay simplification)
-You can hear everything on map(gameplay simplification)

Same problem but her another side in Quake Champions

-Big maps (gameplay crash)
-Wide areas(gameplay simplification + crash)
-No corridors(gameplay simplification + crash)
-Symmetry (gameplay simplification)

If you play on wide open areas - you cant hide yourself. So corridors + arcs(short corridors, doors) = your shield, like 90* angles when you strafe and shoot. You not die with small HP, you can hide yourself and go for powerups. It makes gameplay more complex and intresting.

We has nice example of VALID MAPS in Quake Live


Most of it has same formula CORRIDORS+ROOMS+4 powerups+ VALID PROPORTIONS(rooms, corridors)

When new game came up. There many new maps. But they will be not valid, because mappers not understand duel gameplay. They make nice textures, shadows, lights, but very wrong map scheme!

What happens if all new maps = shit? It will be totally unplayable game! Every duel player will barf farther than he can see.. May be 1 map was playable from 20. And what then?

Right decision to make all our DUEL maps remakes in QUAKE CHAMPIONS. It will be easy to understand new game and compare gameplays for players. This maps already playable. this also time economy for developers + resources

1. Spawns random at start(QL)

2. "Bad spawn" means LUCK\UNLUCK in game. LUCK\UNLUCK means RANDOM. Why it LUCK if you can predict by distance? Because PRO CANT predict WHERE they die.

In Another words, NO NEED TO PREDICT spawns,
We need to predict DYING PLACE =)

If you cant predict YOUR DYING place, you cant predict future spawn

If you cant predict DYING place => dying place RANDOM => RANDOM spawn

Dont forget MAIN thing

"Random" it or not no matter. Because We (pro players) want to control it, without any luck, by making choice. In QUAKE CHAMPIONS

Totally unbalanced

Lets look from duel point of view:

Spawn system in QL was little unbalanced(random spawn and you loose). When mapper make its map he makes spawn places, but he cant make spawns perfect.
1. if he makes just 2 spawn places instead 10(for example). Map was boring and easy to predict for enemy. It means simplification of gameplay. It means in most situations player A makes 1st frag and easy makes 2nd and 3rd and 4th etc.
2. if he makes 10 spawn points, then he cant calculate and modeling future gameplay of his map. It was like in QL.
3. In QL in the start of game, players has different armors and guns- unbalance.
4. If in QC after every frag game makes something like map_restart, but with different score(frags) . Call it round system. It was boring and little slower. And again see path 3.

So we has (different guns, armors) (amount of spawn places in the map) (places of spawn points)

Best way(100% works) to avoid low speed gameplay(less speed), unbalance, noob mapper to make SELECTABLE SPAWNS. All like in QL(spawn algorithm) but you can in 5 seconds after dying select one of 3-4 spawn point, or you can just press fire button to spawn automatically like in QL. Also it brings more tactic to game! Also it very easy to implemetation for programmers.

Now, about characters

The problem that insulting my head is that all characters has different abilities. But it cant be balanced! I just show 3 characters. But we has 12!

The main idea that every school boy select his character and love it forever. Like every boy can found its own love in QC. So everybody should love QC. So id get so much money as Microsoft or Goggle.

May be its true, because of Mortal Kombat and other games...

But we know that in MK gameplay totally easy. Easy scheme and balancing characters also very easy. Just different animation, different combos. But no spawn system, no map control, no timings. I'm talking about 90% of gameplay that is very different and more complex that in MK.

Now to 3 from 12 abilities.

Teleport sphere, fast strafe to different angles, promode movement.

Teleport sphere vs fast strafe. Can you see balance?

Imagine im on dm6 sitting on red and wait for spawn, i throw teleport to RG and while it flying i take Red and in one moment after i get RG. Amazing time cheat! Or may be i throw teleport to shards near LG.

If im on BloodRun wait for MH and throw tele to Red im also big time cheater.

It makes game much unpredictable for enemy. Also most situations of positioning on map should not work as before in QL or totally not work.

So teleport big time cheat and position cheat. But positioning and timings may be 60% of gameplay situations.

What about catching? If you fight for MH in BR you can throw tele to GL and easy disappear from enemy. in one moment.

How Fast strafe eliminate Teleport sphere? Ok im strafing every secong and opponent cant shoot me with any gun: Rocket, Rail, LG not worked!

So one player time and position cheater - another strafing every time and being like in god mode no takes any damage.

What a game it be?

Compare this 2 abilities to Promode movement that may be 20% faster than normal VQL. I think promode movement players loose to any of this 2.

So you love Promode but you cant win any game =). Situation between love and every time loosing.

Is that normal?

And dont forget that we has 12 heroes! Totally chaos!

Or we just found most imba hero and play only him.

Dont you forget about ELO?

In QL we everytime has different ELO players. So most of them everytime loosing, because no valid opponent and they start to hate Quake and go for DOTA or any stupid RPG where many ppl just love to chat and speak and clicking one mouse button.

How to calculate player ELO when different HEROES playing?

It stupid chaos game for kids, with no ANY professional elements. Just play for week and go to QL.

I looked his interview. Here he tells some things

- Multiplayer of Doom= good. Those who tells that not= wrong

Time to write a new Quake

As a fan of the game with the experience of 13 years, I give expert analysis and 100% working recommendations, absolutely free.

We have long worked on Quake Live, we wrote a new good dueling maps. Period 2009-2016 = 7 years of work. 7 years should not be drop out !!!!!

WIN Formula:

New Quake = QuakeLive + NewGraphics + Innovations (+ SinglePleer).

-We need to take all the QuakeLive code and simply upgrade the graphics part to the modern level.
-All Dueling maps (in online tournaments) should save all that they have, diagram, proportions, dimensions, have 2-3 texturing variants (1 variant of the textures for the pro) like campgrounds and bloodrun in QuakeLive.

Now the main part:

Innovations = Innovations for PRO + Innovations for NOOBS.

Innovations for Noobs:

-Elo Rating (Glicko) should be everywhere and prevent novice sound the siren of a strong opponent. And do not give to play. Noobs needs less frustration. Moreover, the rating must be recognized by each duel map SEPARATELY. Just players with a high ELO should have the crown on the head in game, nick must be red and radiate
curvature of space and time.


Innovations for PRO:
-Server Must be 100 fps.
-Ability to increase ping on /cv sameping

UPDATE 19.05.2016
-Some duel maps must have super powerups, like Invisibility (duration 2 sec, player model fully invisible, spawns like quad 3-5 times during game), Silence - no any sound from player.
-Selectable spawns . But i think also about how players choose spawn points during their movement, like proximity mines setup( its Very tactical)
-Of course wall demolition.! You rocketJump and crash wall by your body!! Some animation required! =). Also you can make holes by rocket and hide inside!
-Rockets fly not only linear but also little right or left like some wind move it!
-3 jump states! Little higher, little lower, but faster

Some thoughts about Quake Champions video

With this types of abilities very easy to make a fatal mistakes!

-First of all. This abilities should not be very often in game. Because it can easy make unbalance. Also if it was often - it was bother. Also it easy makes chaos in game(uncontrolable shit)
- Better to make some vars for this abilities as much ass possible to correct it on future,(for players)
-Also this abilities should not be very easy to implement for player. Example fatalities in Mortal Kombat or even brutalities. Or some tricks in Quake WallClimb,RocketJumps.
For newbie It must be like "Ohh!! how you make it? How you train it? What tutorial i must read to do it such fast\accuracy\strong like you?". make it harder for implement! thats the key! More harder=more respect.

approximately : 1.5-2 sec duration. 1-2 times in duel game. May be more in ffa and other gameypes. A good example of this ability in game TeeWars, when you take catana like armor(sword)(also you can make it in air ).

Look through Wall
approximately:1,5-2 sec duration. radius=0.5 lightning distance. Available in last 2 minutes of game. In this time often winner tries to hide themselves(duel). 1 try in 1 min.

approximately 2-3 times during duel, And more in Ffa and etc.. May be it depend on distance between players, may be what guns right now, may be how much health you has(all for duel)

Teleport From pink sphere:
approximately: 1 time during duel. It can be VERY big cheat =]

Some thoughts about leaked Quake Champions video

It's not important, but guns models looks childish. Doom guns models more brutal.

game physics looks like oldone. I recommend increase jump max height on 5%-7% ( like in osp-fps-bug-mode). There was some constant in game code ( something like ???_VELOCITY )

inside pink teleport sphere we can see poligonal shit. But its not important

FU***ing promode movement may be faster than usual. How to balance speed difference between characters?

Again. We must have more old maps in QC. (bloodrun....lostworld.. etc...)

Elder has an excellent scheme,
The key - a very cool innovation!
2 Yellow 1 Red 1 mega - Best choice
