That quite annoyed me actually. At the start of the tournament we were told we couldnt use any kind of pillow or cushion despite the chairs being too low for the table. Also we weren't allowed to move the tablecloths even though they were covered in seams and badly ironed so there were folds and creases everywhere. People with soft pads had major problems. I had to smuggle in a huge book I found nearby and put it under my mousepad, otherwise the mouse would just get stuck every few centimeters.

I guess that further into the tournament they gave way and allowed people cushions and to not play on the uneven tablecloths, but like I say a lot of people were very annoyed.

True about needing the right chair ... I kept getting bad back/shoulder pains until I spent some cash and got a decent chair that was adjustable.

Welcome to the CPL., the greatest gamer's show on earth bringing you two guys sitting on the same chairs as the spectators, performing their arts on a stage kept together with duct tape (was there a terrorism allert?) being cheered by a fat guy and people with bad hair cuts. Don't you miss the grandeur of WCG or ESWC when you see these pictures? Come on Mr Munoz, you can do better than this.

I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed at the display myself being more engrossed in the actual game, although you obviously have a good point and it's a poor show for an outsider. In their defence I would say that this was a 'small' event that only became large because of the charismatic Quake 4 competition, it was not meant to be in the same league as their World Tour and other major-league tournaments where they do have impressive stage setups.

Agreed. In fact, I go so far as to say the entire presentation should be done in-game. Spectators should not be there to see a couple of people sitting at computer desks. They should be there to watch the game itself. That's where the show is. That's what people spend years refining... people don't spend years refining the way they look sitting at computer desks.

Cooller looks very relaxed when he plays, which i guess is vital. Toxic is all stiff and robotic.

ye he got so much 1on1 tourney experiance and so used to winning that he dosnt seem nervouse at all compared to toxic who i guess is used to mostly tdm tourneys when you arnt alone on the big stage =P
