Shows a lot of 'my mouse pad is blatantly oversized'. I have an mx518, 1600dpi ... I play with 1.5/0. I'd say I'm a low sens player.

My mousepad is less than a square foot (steelpad 4s). I never run out of room.

You arent a low sensitivity player, not enough to utilize the mousepad anyways. I have a fatpad (just like all those huge ones) and an mx518 at 800 dpi and I play with 1.2 sensitivity. Thats over 2.5x the distance for the same number of degrees (assuming windows sensitivity is the same). I definately use the whole mouse pad, and couldn't play with a smaller one.

If you do, fair game. And what I meant by low sens player is that I'm not sens 4 with 0.5 accel or the likes, not that I'm the absolute lowest sens player ever. ;] (Even though this is looking into it perhaps to exessively, it takes me one 'throw' of the mouse, using 90% of the pad, to turn 90 degrees. But in an emergency, one full length of the pad will 180 me.)

The pads seem excessive though, and I have yet to see a video where the pad is fully utilized. It just so happens to be really displayed in this vid.

Btw, why bother with the mx518 if you're playing @ 800dpi?

Depends alittlebit on the height that the mouse stops reading the surface. I havent tried that razer mouse, so I dont know. More interesting to me was the way he was holding the mouse and how far back he was pressing the mouse1 button.

And it looks like he likes to move around by flickering with high sens instead of tracking. Thats probably why hes picking up his mouse the way he does.

I use my mouse the same way, so I'm not moving my wrist at all. Seems like this is very unique style, until I saw the video I thought I was the only one doing this :-)
