Since I work with eSports on a daily basis I figured, that I could write now and then what I experience in the world of electronic sports and what comes with it.

-Today we taped two of our shows, that'll be broadcasted next monday and tuesday. usualy we're live, but since we leaving for the games convention on tuesday and the kinda need our studio there (or at least the whole equipment including chairs and tables) we had to tape them today. we showed the half-finals of the giga liga playoffs and for that i had to watch quite some games to decide what we were going to show on the air. besides that someone sent me a link to project offeset, what seems to be an epic medieval first person shooter with some very neat graphics. (and when I say neat, I mean like fucking unbelievable great graphics). a voice in the movie says it's all realtime and explains some of the effects... whatever, even if it's really realtime, I don't have the proper hardware for sure

-I checked if some of the old challenge-networtk sites still exist. sadly they are all gone, except of challenge-tv.

-Got ICQ'd by neok who sent me the link to the quakecon stream and the match between purri and sarge. I watched til the score was like 30:0 in purris favor then I got bored...

-Checked ESR for any news concerning Quake 4 and watched the Fat-Movie over and over again, pausing here and there.

-Checked the Raven Soft Site for Interview Contacts and ended up on ken hoekkstras personal homepage, which is prolly the ugliest website I've seen. And who the fuck is ken hoekkstra?

-Placed ESR bets on UT giga liga finals on seim and on zeio (not because I'm sure they win, I'm going for the odd's!)
