Well i have to admit pakistan doesnt have the best railway system around , its been there since the colonial days and well hasnt really changed much except for the steam engine changing into a deisel engine :)
anyway near by where i live there is a village and they have a very nice railway station, this sunday i went there and took some photos :) enjoy
this engine is from the late 1800 and early 1900 .. was used by the british and the early Pakistan government.. they just put it outside and did a real bad paint job.. but its still pretty cool :)
The train is arriving at the station, the signal isnt clear but the signal guy is standing on the train and the people from around the place dont really care about the train :P
The area here is somewhat one of the main routes of the buddhists in the ancient times, nearby we have Taxila a 3000 year old civilization of buddhists used to live there.. anyway with them they brought there own trees and all .. this is one of those ancient trees with its roots coming from the sky
i just kinda like this image.. the carriage on the right is of the same ancient train..
