Better late than never, I think there ought to at least be a post about QuakeCon 2019 here.
10 players from Europe and 10 players from the Americas have been invited.

Note: Cypher was also invited but visa is still an issue, so he once again can't compete. It is also the case for Serious and possibly Agent.
Game mode is the new mode 'Timelimit Duels' in Quake Champions. Prizepool is yet to be determined, but this tournament is the kickstart to a whole season of Quake.

I guess some smaller community tourneys, events and panel discussions from QuakeCon will be streamed and later be available as VOD on twitch and youtube.
On QuakeCon id Software wants to show off more of the Battlemode, the asymmetrical 2-vs-1 fun multiplayer component from Doom Eternal.
The 2-player cooperative FPS Wolfenstein Youngblood from the developers MachineGames and Arkane arrives on thursday for PC and on friday for Consoles. Right now on thursday the game reviews pop up and it is said that the KI in soloplay is also good and the wolfenstein gameplay formula just works.
Also on thursday Rage 2 will get the second big Update.
As every year, id Software and Bethesda titles get a pricecut on digital shop platforms while the QuakeCon is on.
